  1. First issue with new Bronco rear window

I had this happen. Took it to my dealer, they ordered a new seal and installed it. Works just fine ever since. I asked if I could just glue it into place and they said that wouldn’t amount to a long term fix. Replacing the entire seal is apparently the proper fix.
  2. Gear Range in IPC in Forscan

Thanks for clarifying and correcting. I’m trying to read up on ForScan before I mess with anything myself and this sort of information helps!
  3. Gear Range in IPC in Forscan

10R is for the automatic which has 10 gears. 6R is for the manual which has 6 gears (plus the C gear).
  4. OTA Update 10.1.1 Enhanced Connectivity and Power Management

My hope is that it’s incorrect word order and they meant to say ā€œimproved display connectivityā€ and they are starting to fix the Sync4 / infotainment system problems so many of us are having! A man can hope, at least. I’ll try asking Santa too. šŸ˜‚
  5. Best way to listen to your music library on CarPlay

True. I should have specified I have only had transcode problems with video files. Someone wants to watch a 2160p/4K movie on my server at 720p and asks it to transcode — that’s where the server speed matters and where problems start. Not with simple and relatively small audio files.
  6. Best way to listen to your music library on CarPlay

Just be sure the server is fast enough to handle transcoding. While easier to manage with audio files than video files, you can still run into all kinds of problems if the server is unable to transcode on the fly fast enough. It helps solve bandwidth issues, but the server still has to be able...
  7. Best way to listen to your music library on CarPlay

The USB stick suggestion others have made is probably your best option if you are trying to completely avoid the Apple Music app. But you can save and listen to your own music in the Apple Music app too. I also don’t like most streaming services. I have a ton of live shows that are not on Apple...
  8. The right shirt for the task at hand…

I love their stuff. I drive a Bronco and ride BMW motorcycles (ā€˜75 R90/6 and ā€˜12 R1200GS) and my only complaint is that they need to stop making so many shirts that feature my vehicles! It’s becoming a problem in my dresser. šŸ˜‚ Thanks! I was actually a little worried the FoMoCo would come...
  9. The right shirt for the task at hand…

I realized I couldn’t really wear anything else when we went to chop down our tree this year.
  10. Steps that attach to rock rails

If you are looking for a step that mounts directly to the OEM rock rails, you should check out these from iAG: https://iagoffroad.com/iag-full-length-ez-step-add-on-for-2021-ford-bronco-1-pair-/ I have a pair on my 2 door Badlands and love them. Install just takes a couple of minutes. Makes it...
  11. Moab Offroadeo Sticker?

Talk to them about saving it. I’ve had stickers saved on replaced glass before and a good glass tech may be able to get that off and put back on for you. Not sure if anyone at the dealership will be so skilled, but the guys at my windshield place have done wonders saving stickers I didn’t want...
  12. How did you cut the cargo tie down holes on the Bronco rubber cargo mat/liner?

Like @RagnarKon I used a fresh blade on a utility knife and went slowly. Mine turned out just fine. A slip or two on the corners but not noticeable from the top.
  13. BFGoodrich KO3 feedback / reviews?

As a Vermonter, I’m eager to hear from you and others about how well these do in winter as well. I’d like to avoid the winter tire switch too and am about to go through my first full winter on the stock KO2s over here. They did just fine in February / March right after I got mine, but I didn’t...
  14. Late 2024 Hard Top Sound Deadening Change: felt headliner removed around all locking handles

My 2 DR Badlands Lux was built in January 2024 and it does have the extra felt.
  15. ISO Forscan Idaho

Just stopping by to commiserate. I have an all Apple household — both my wife’s and my work computers (which are Windows) are fully locked down from installing new software. I can’t believe I found myself shopping for cheap Windows computers at Best Buy last week, but this is where I’m at too. I...
  16. 24' Manuals input please

Coming up on 15k on my MY24 7MT. I did have a slave cylinder go out at about 6k. Replaced under warranty. No issues since. Just returned a couple weeks ago from a month long trip that included Moab and lots of trail riding. Couldn’t love this vehicle more after that trip and am very happy I...
  17. Warn Winch price drop on Ford accessories store site!

Has anyone in Oklahoma, Arizona, or Vermont (where I am) figured out a way to order one of these? Or anything from Ford through the Ford Accessories website? Beyond infuriating that people in those three states can’t order anything from Ford. And confusing as to why this is. Have never gotten a...
  18. What's the best tailgate table?

According to IAG, it's BROADDICT who is copying them. And based on the fact BROADDICT is located in Hong Kong and IAG is based out of Maryland, I believe that is probably the truth. At this point, the BROADDICT one is cheaper than the IAG one, but only by $50. IAG explained that they copied...
  19. What's the best tailgate table?

As an FYI -- I talked to the folks at IAG and the BROADDICT table is a rip off of their table design: https://iagoffroad.com/iag-aluminum-multilevel-tailgate-table-for-2021-ford-bronco/ BROADDICT is based in Hong Kong, so enforcing a US patent claim is very difficult under this situation. But...
  20. 2.3L Octane -- 87 vs. 93 -- 93 wins on power, what about long-term?

I run 91 non-ethanol in all of my vehicles. It’s much more important to do so in my motorcycles. Less so in the Bronco, but the big benefit to me is that ethanol fuel is hydrophilic and I take long international trips, meaning that fuel can sometimes sit in the tank for over a month. And since I...
