Fuel doors should be on the passenger side exclusively, so we can pull up tight to the pump while not having to worry about throwing our doors into the metal/concrete barriers next to fuel pumps.
Driver's side fuel doors are for housewives and little girls, change my mind. :coffee:
Me liking Cactus Gray is 100% dependent on it having green hues as suggested in all of the initial reveal photos from Ford.
If it turns out to be just gray, I'm out.
This is correct. Fuels and fuel additives/cleaners won't address the valve buildup issue in GDI-only engines.
One thing that's commonly cited as potentially mitigating buildup, is use of a motor oil with low Noack volatility (as well as catch cans). I'm not well-read on the subject enough to...
Blackstone is the reason I settled on a 10k mile interval as well.
So many opinions on motor oil type/intervals are based on BroScience or how people 'feel'. If you want actual data points regarding changes in viscosity, breakdown of anti-friction additives, metals, etc, then it's money well...
Same here. The A51 shots over the last few weeks have made me completely write it off as a color.
But that new pic made me feel some type of way.
I still think I'm going with another color, but that shot does indeed make it look awesome,
IMO that's a ton of money to spend, for some serious off road hardware, for 'occasionally off the beaten path'.
Optioning just the rear locker itself would likely be more than you'd ever need.
For the (suspected) price of the samsquantch, I bet you'd get a lot more utility out of the auto+2.7+mid.
After the reveal, my first thought was that the Base was indeed a loss leader so that the magical sub-$30k price point could be advertised.
I'll admit it worked on me, as I sat up in my chair a little bit when I saw $28,500 + destination for a base 2-Door.
Ceramic coatings can indeed act as a sacrificial layer for the clear coat, but IME they are not effective for trail pinstriping as discussed here.
They're good having low maintenance protection for the clear coat that retains good aesthetic properties (reflectivity) and is hard enough to...
According to the charts outlining the GOAT modes it does change throttle mapping, which I actually kind of dig, as it looks like I'll be able to just live in 'soft' modes (economy, weather, rock).
Modern Subarus do that new nonsensical thing where ~30% of pedal travel is near full throttle...
This.
If even a small percentage of the people that cried on the internet about manuals dying put their money where their mouths are, I don't suspect manuals would be dying at this rate.
I grew up in a 1987 Volkswagen Fox.
People that think kids are gonna catch fire if you put them in anything other than a $60,000 yuppie SUV are wild.
I suspect your kids will survive just fine in a Bronco.
