Mostly mountain driving but usually 1 or 2 times a week a 70 mile trek into the "big city" (Pueblo) on I25 with cruise set at 80 mph. I average 17 mpg.
2022 Badsquatch, 2.7, 46K miles.
Brahian, thanks for the additional information. So I see the connection is a good weatherproof and secure connection which is great. Now my comment is purely aesthetic and mainly applies to ditch lights where the wiring is in obvious sight. Do you make a connection that looks more "finished"...
Everything looks great except the connections on the back of the ditch lights? I've mounted a number of LED lights (none were Baja Designs) and have not seen any connections that plug into the back of the lights. All had sealed pigtails. Are these Bronco Designs connections weatherproof? Not...
Why non-SAS Badlands? I would only recommend that if you plan to do a lot of suspension modifications. For the use you describe and what you say about your wife's desires for a Jeep, I would certainly get a Badlands with Sasquatch. Ours is a great touring vehicle. Much better on the road...
Has your friend with the jeep been to Moab before? I'm a bit confused by your post. Is the owner of the jeep going with you to "co-drive"? Or is the co-driver someone else?
All good advice. (Except the bikini!! LOL). Bring good leather gloves to use if you need to winch, good hiking shoes...
So what if it was a puff piece! The whole thing was a bit "tongue in cheek" anyway. That said, it was.a good fun watch.
I would have liked to have seen a side by side comparison of the individual stage numbers in addition to the final numbers.
Post your question on the FB group "Colorado Bronco Owners". I know of someone in the Springs but there should be someone in the Metro area who can do it too.
Thanks for the reply. That's the conclusion I was coming to. I certainly don't want to mess with the factory upfitter switch wiring. My intent was also to use this to keep the boards down when washing the boards - but this configuration is not allowing me to do this. I may end up...
Awesome! Thanks for the quick response. Let us know when preordering opens.
I revived this thread because the I ran into this situation about a week ago here in Colorado. I ruined a credit card when I had to stop and scrape the ice from the headlights!
OK, I'll answer my own question! I tried it, It does not work!
After some study and actually trying to hook up an upfitter switch to control the on/off switch of the power steps I've found it will not work unless there would be a way to modify the wiring to the upfiter switch itself. The...
Has anyone used one of the upfitter switches as the on/off switch for the RC electric running boards? The switch provided simply attaches to the dash with double sided tape. I'd rather not do that!
The switch appears to control a ground, not power so hooking up to an upfitter switch would...
