I'm no fancy big city lawyer but....
S5.4.1 The vehicle's ESC system must always return to the manufacturer's original default ESC mode that satisfies the requirements of S5.1 and S5.2 at the initiation of each new ignition cycle, regardless of what ESC mode the driver had previously selected...
Damn, this post and the other one make it hard to understand if that cross member is weak or if folks are just putting too much pressure on that cross member.
I always love it when companies use the latest wonder material that will magically do stuff. Graphene is an interesting material but I'm curious how a material 1 atom thick will hold hold up over time on a wiper blade 🤣. Seems like marketing nonsense.
My guess on the software is that Ford is just being paranoid. They don't know if you've been wheeling on rocks or if you're just in your driveway screwing with the modes, so for the safety of your drivetrain they're asking if you want to stay in that mode. What I don't get is why they ask if you...
There are definitely going to be hiccups and things like this should be a wakeup call for CA to upgrade their grid. This is a major transition and not everything will go smoothly and CA should be looking into adding more nuclear to the grid.
I've sat in a Range Rover recently. It was very nice on the inside but let's be real, you're paying for a name. There was more tech in the Range Rover but not 30k more than my badlands. The materials are a bit nicer but again not worth the extra 30k.

Good lord. Posts should be limited to like 1000 characters so this much BS can't be packed into a single post
If a bigmac costs $20 it's because McDonald's decided they want more money not because of raises. Though I'm sure that's the excuse they'll use to justify it, but the math doesn't work out
I think people always get too concerned about this stuff. There's a lot of great battery improvements that should be leaving the lab soon. Solid state batteries being one of the big improvements. Ultimately one of two things will happen in 2035, 1. all of the tech is ready for the new world of...
While getting wheel speed from 3 wheels is better than none it's still going to cause issues given that if you have a wheel that's slipping or in the air, and has a faulty sensor, the computer has no way of knowing and therefore can't act.
Also, awesome job on testing these failures.
