  2. Prices must be going down.

Fuel prices have come down. "The national average gas price rose seven-tenths of one cent to $3.68 a gallon on Wednesday, according to AAA. That was down from $3.90 a month ago but up from $3.19 at the same time last year. Gas prices peaked at just above $5 a gallon in June."...
  3. Upgrades on the cheap

To each their own with their money but I it's hard to justify the need for $1000 lights unless you're out every weekend or racing.
  4. 800 Days.

I love my bronco but the wait was BS and it really sucked watching people who reserved much later get their broncos before me
  5. We're going on a ski trip in California this winter. Caltrans says I need to have tire chains on board. Can anyone suggest some?

This is what happened to my group when I travelled to mammoth years back. I believe they also require 4wd or AWD, obviously not a problem with a bronco.

  9. Tie rod sleeve install - send help 🤣

I haven't done much auto repair recently and I've never messed with tie rods, but tearing the boot was one of the first thoughts I had when I saw the fork.
  10. Tie rod sleeve install - send help 🤣

So something like this is what I got and it did the trick... though it was a pain because some idiot 🤣 deformed the bottom of the bolt and it kept slipping off. It still took some effort to get it to pop out and there was a decent pop when it broke free. The passenger side on the other hand...

  14. Tie rod sleeve install - send help 🤣

I decided to finally install my tie rod sleeves today. I have the RC ones which are similar to the jks ones, so I watched the jks install video and thought "looks easy enough". Well I removed the tie rod nut but I can't for the life of me get the damn tie rod out. I've banged on the end of the...

@Tricky Dick might be putting something together
  16. Need to lift a heavy tire for rotation and you are not strong enough?

That's kind of expensive for a wheeled spatula.
  17. Borne Off-Road Snorkel R&D Thread

I see what you did there :D
  18. Anybody have Bronco buyer's remorse and why?

I was recently on vacation and rented a Volvo XC90. The interior of the bronco is nowhere near that of the Volvo. Having said that, I was glad to be back in my Bronco when I got back. Maybe I'm in the minority but I'm not feeling up my interior when I get into vehicles and when I'm driving a car...
