Ya that’s kind of what I was thinking. I know these LED conversion kits sometimes use resistors to stop the LEDs from blinking in other applications. I thought perhaps that could be happening here as well. Unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be a ‘disconnect’ option short of clipping the wire...

Thanks! Ya there isn’t anything in the destructions about removing anything. Happily considered clipping a few wires and hoping for success, but thought better of it if returning. Was hoping @Mabett would clarify.

Agreed. Those are harnesses to facilitate an OE halogen to LED conversion as far as I can tell. On my install I just ignored them (there are several connectors) and snapped in the plug’n’play to the OE LED harness on the Bronco per instructions.

Ya- no kidding. That's not helpful. There is only one install option for LED- you unplug the OE harness and plug in the new light. Care to expand? Your instructions don’t add any additional details. Please let us know…

Interestingly- both of the @Mabett tail lights are behaving the exact same way- start up animation and reverse/zone white lights are functioning, but no brake lights on either side, and when you engage either turn signal nothing happens, but in the cab the indicator is blinking/clicking rapidly...

Oh- hey! I watched your video for my install. Thanks for putting that together. I’m going back to the garage in a about 30 mins so I’ll pull them out and take pics. But YES I believe I do.

And yes, my lights have a variety of extra wiring that appears useful for the halogen conversion but there weren’t any instructions regarding removing anything from the harness in anyway. Maybe that’s what needs to happen? Not sure.

I was replacing the OE LED lights (red) with @Mabett smoke color Nice! I hope so… that would be helpful. I left the trim pieces apart in hopes of a simple fix (ie dumb user error). Maybe @Mabett can straighten me out…
