Gotta disagree with you here. Had a fleet of 5 new Cat 793F 240-ton mining trucks, 2500 hp engines. One threw a rod at low hours. Within a couple of weeks Cat let us know they had identified the cause of failure was a burr left in the crankshaft oil galleries by a dull tool. In x hours the...
So far we have seen zero issues attributed to lack of oil or excess oil. Seems like a non-issue whether you add 7 qts or just keep it in the marks on the stick.
There was another thread on this a while back. Before I bought mine I did a little analysis with Flood pricing and, assuming the miles work, 100k is the sweet spot. Up front cost increases significantly for the 125 and 150k options for longer terms, and 75, 85, and 100k converge. 85k is a...

Limited driving (not a daily driver)
Numerous electronic modules...
My brother-in-law worked for the guy that invented Mattracks. I saw the first prototypes in his transmission shop. They were built from snowmobile parts (Arctic Cat factory in the same town). They were too light duty, but proved the concept.
You can buy the extended warranty any time during the initial warranty period. Coverage starts at the date of purchase and 0 miles no matter when you buy it. I would guess that the price increases if you wait.
