so leave bass blockers in? I am going to install the kicker 200.4 amp to drive them. Just hoping once the amp and other speakers are in everything sounds a lot better. Currently sounds like listening to a little hand held radio.

did you use bass blockers? I add some 300hz blockers but might remove them. Looks like the gs42 has good output to around 125hz and they sound really shallow right now. Granted I have not installed the gs60 yes or the subs but very tingy.

just remove the screws holding them on. Go slow so you don’t strip any. I didn’t have any issues all came off fine. You need to take them off to paint anyway so maybe you will just like the look without them and don’t bother painting.

I bought the plug-n-play.com harness kit. SO not sure :)

I just took mine completely off. I think it looks better without them and saved money. Not sure how someone is getting $125 powder coating unless they are not stripping the existing finish.
