It would absolutely be on the list if it didn't have abominable fuel economy and for one other big issue:

Unfortunately they do. Car companies prefer the old way of doing things for some strange reason.
Never mind giving it to the YouTubers that will get millions of hits almost instantly.
On my '20 F-350 all of the 12V outlets are powered for about thirty minutes or so after shutdown. They don't get powered on again until the key is turned to "On" or "Acc" to start the timer again.
Convertible ownership.... such a double-edged sword.
-The first time you get caught in the rain will not be the last time.
-Don't get lazy and park it outside overnight with the top down and then fall asleep if you have a perfectly good garage. That's how you wake up with a soaked interior...
