I'm using the Rock Monster Wheels Catalog | Hutchinson (hutchinsoninc.com). They are different offset and backspacing than the OEM or any of the recommended wheels... we hoped they would clear but they didn't have a set to confirm. I'm hoping the same tire as mine will fit on a sasquatch wheel...
I haven't removed or trimmed anything other than removing the crash bar in front and behind the front tires.
I was going to do Fox 2.5's with the RPG Stage 3 kit, but after enough time passed and watching more propaganda/marketing stuff it seemed the only downside to the 3.0's was the cost...
I've been too busy enjoying my bronco to keep up with this banter! (and apologies for the thread hijack)
We all have different goals, dreams, and definitions of what is rational. Also as stated before we all have different budgets- marital status, # of dependents, hobbies, vices, etc. I...
We are fortunate to have several good tire options ;D
For size reference... here is a cropped pic of my wheel&tire combo sitting flush against the side of my brothers '23 4dr badlands sasquatch. It is basically the same size/arc as the flares.
Complete set ready for install day:
Off topic -...
I do many things that aren't necessary. But if I can manage the 40's.. then aired down I will still have more ground clearance than with full pressure 38's.. and like I mentioned I plan to delete the crash bar bracket... and I presume if I'm hitting the fender when stuffed I can just use all of...
I haven't figured out everything yet.. but I am working with a different company that is trying to make a combo unit to mount above the MIC top in the rear (or to the back/underside of a rack) that will have an antenna mount point, the OEM camera relocated, and lights to have turn signal, brake...
With regards to the spare tire- I've been working with Expedition One since March when I put down a full price deposit for them to develop a dual swing rear bumper option (like they do for so many other platforms) specifically that can handle the size and weight of my setup. It will be offered...
I'm not sure how I never saw this thread before tonight... but I read all of the first 15 pages then skipped to page 20...
I am in the group with deposits paid. I plan to make a build thread/social media accounts eventually... but hopefully before the end of the year I can help answer some of...
We'll have to meet up sometime once we both have our builds complete... maybe Bridgeport (Northwest) OHV? I haven't been there yet. I wonder how many of the 74 weld sets are heading to Texas.
I did opt for the UHMW/UHMP as a part of my underbody protection for my bronco build (2dr). I have not used it in the past but wanted to try it.
I wasn't aware of your products when I made my purchase decisions, but I appreciate the extent to which you responded and how you did. I will...
I ordered the SPD downpipes... and am going to give the Injen SES9300 (SS, dual tip, dual can) exhaust a shot (25% off sale today). Have all accompanying upgrades ordered except still trying to decide on a CAI... leaning Mishimoto. Will use FP canned tune for a bit but plan to get it live tuned...
I called Injen a few days ago to ask about their CAI and they mentioned it would have a CEL; I think he said it was related to a sensor Ford had added to the 23 models. I think its the same sensor that causes the CEL with dual catch cans (CCV side?).
Dang. My '23 just started making this noise.. I presume from a cold soak overnight? It only got down to upper 40's and was low 60's when driving that I noticed it.
Was the TSB ever expanded for the 23s?
I've just started having this issue in my '23 badlands (standard options - no mid/high/lux). I usually just set the fob in a cup holder (instead of my hand or my pocket) and it starts next press (5 times so far). Not helpful.. but I'm going to have to check the antenna wire I guess. I have...
