If you are even remotely considering a manual, do it. The 2.3L plus 7-spd changes the complexion of the Bronco in a major way. I would posit that there will be MANY buyers who will, in the not distant future, regret not getting the 7-spd when they had the chance. It's FAR more fun to drive...
No one is getting sub-2% unless it's being bought down by the dealer for some reason. I got 2.29@ 60mo no payments for 90 days from my credit union with 800 credit score. Ford will not get you anything close to 2%.
I definitely want to retain warranty coverage - and I have $1300 in FordPass points - so FPP tune will be the one for me. I'm not even broken-in just yet so I've got some time but I would have expected it by now. They had that press release several months ago if I recall correctly...
Hey @Ford Motor Company !!!
When is the Ford Performance Parts Factory Tune coming for Bronco? Feels like it was released for Ranger quickly after launch.
Anybody who works for Ford and hasn't been sent to a North Korean labor camp care to comment?
Graciously yours,
A Bronco owner
I’ve noticed some mush in brakes at times but nothing crazy. If I feel it, I’ll lift my foot fully and then go again and it’s back to normal. No biggie here.
I've had my Bronco for almost two weeks now and there have been several instances where I am WAY higher in revs than I wanted/expected to be once I manage to get a glimpse of the crap-o bar tach. I live on a big hill and running the 2.3 up steep grades does take some ability to keep the engine...
Yep...this is basically my point. In an enthusiast vehicle like Bronco, we get that silly bar tach. It's quickly become the biggest disappointment in an otherwise great vehicle.
It's official. I figured I'd hate it...and I hate it! I'm talking about the tach. Mamma mia it's bad. Like embarrassing bad. Silly 80s video game bad. CyberTruck bad. I hope someone was fired over this design. It's really that bad. It's worse than no tach honestly.
And...I'm 7-spd MT...
I've posted this elsewhere - but man it would be nice to see and then hear this system on a 2.3L 7spd. I've seen about 500 vids of exhaust installed on 2.7L (and then posted to 2.3L threads... 😖) but continuing to hear the exhaust with the sad and sloppy 10spd auto is bleh. I REALLY want to...
I would bet that OP would post it for sale, entertain some tire kicking losers and then pull it after not being able to breakeven. If it was a loaded BL or FE, maybe there's something to discuss...
Has the world determined the 2022s are able to be Forscanned for other features aside from Sport mode? Wondering if I should just return my OBDLink at this point...
