THIS. If there are one or 2 parts that needed to be redesigned ... it makes sense to build everything out and replace them when the parts are manufactured and available.
I remember seeing it a couple of weeks ago, but can't find it now. TBH, It may have been a regular bronco review that highlighted the issues, but it would still be issue (maybe worse with the custom hood and modified tailgate).
I believe on one of the B-Raptor reveal review videos they showed the hood catching the cowl and the rear window catching the swing door. Maybe it is related?
a cut and paste from a facebook post I saw - not mine and take it with a grain of salt ...
"Spoke with Ford rep today..…..zero Bronco Raptors have shipped as they are waiting on the “ ok to sell” memo to come down. they did not know the reason other than to say it is not a transport issue at...
I saw an update where Matt said that he was not being paid consistently by AAA, and his rep suggested some creative ways of submitting claims, the same way as everybody else in the industry does. He never submitted a claim for work that was not performed, although the 'timestamps' did not always...
THIS is very useful information. It explains why I should not drive my F250 in 4H on pavement, and that the Bronco 4A is tuned for off road but can be used on pavement _sometimes_, at the cost of wear on the transfer case.
It isn't even worth my time to ask anymore. I am waiting for somebody to say that they have moved to 'Built' or 'Shipped' status before I start to get excited again.
The Bronco has a 'flat tow" mode that will disengage the drivetrain for towing, tow bar or otherwise. If you use the search function on this forum, I believe there are a few videos that show how to do this.
I believe the tear tag indicates that all modules have been installed, everything has been programmed and configured, the car has passed a full diagnostic and the ECU catchcode has been assigned.
If it makes anybody else feel better, It looks like VIN 001 is still waiting too (just checked).
This could be our litmus test ... I would imagine this bronco will be the first Raptor to be released.
As somebody that has a 1995 Ford F150 Lightning with a Canadian Instrument Cluster (truck was delivered as a california car, guess they got the CA part wrong :), I would wholeheartedly agree!
