Its sime. Its cheating the system to sign up for an mca membership just got get x plan AFTER you put in a reservation. The posts of "hey go sign up with mca and you can get an x plan pin" is just that. Cheating the system and not using x plan they way it was intended to be used. People flat...
No, I'm saying signing up for mca after putting in your reservation just to get an x plan pin is abusing the system and not how x plan was intended to be used. Especially when people are saying "i signed up and don't even have a mustang."
Well for starters, nobody said anyone had to spend 50k for one. In fact, nobody is being forced to buy one. And yes, its cheating the system. X plan doesn't just set a price, there is a cost to Ford for every x plan purchase. Being first buyers will cost more, plain and simple. If its "not...
And for those not happy about paying MSRP... which means MANUFACTURERS SUGGESTED RETAIL PRICE.... should be happy theres dealers out there willing to drop the price at all.
its a clear abuse of the system if you pay 25$ to sign up for MCA AFTER you reserved to get x-plan pricing. original MCA members and all other prior x-plan members get shafted now. its was cheating the system, and now everyone gets to pay for it.
No argument there. If you arent getting to use your x-plan that you received from signing up for MCA AFTER reserving your Bronco, you have ZERO leg to stand on. to those who have been getting x-plan since before the bronco was ever announced, im sorry to hear you wont get to use it.
im sure it has nothing to do with the huge uptick in MCA memberships for $25 to get x plan pricing. not that it would be considered abusing the system.... and now that system has been removed for everyone......
There ya go. i havent been following the pricing section yet as that of course could change. i've been waiting for the order guide to come out before talking any kind of pricing with my customers or confirming anything. the only thing our dealer can confirm is we wont have any ADM on ours.
correct. there is no finalized or heads up allocation number that has been announced. Ford is still in discussions on this. Everyone is in the dark at this point.
If they told you they didnt know on allocations, that would be the truthful straight answer lol. were dying to know too lol. most dealers have employees who have reservations in as well, so were all stuck in waiting.
Here's an example of why allocations matter. Similar situation, though yes a little different. Dealership A has 3 gt500 actual customer order units submitted prior to allocations being announced. Dealer B has 0 gt500 customer orders in. Not just retail orders, but actual sold customer orders...
Nothing is also set in stone. Not trying to muddy the waters here on this. After chatting with the rep, I'm number 65 in our order bank and what he said had me in the mindset based on allocations that I'd probably have a 2022.... and I reserved day 3 lol. I'd have no complaint on a 2022. I'm...
Your on to something there. I could see Ford looking at it as a "we already factored an allocation of x number of Broncos based on your dealers sales, and we don't intend to increase your allocation solely to fulfill reservations due to an increased number of reservations from other regions. You...
I don't think most of them are trying to jump ahead as much as they just didn't pay attention in any way. I try to keep straight forward with them as I want reservations filled first. I've got a reservation in and am only contesting holding to a 2022 over color. I'm praying we can get sage lol
I agree on honoring the reservations. There have been a lot of people who yes, screwed themselves by not putting in a reservation. We scratch our heads every day when one of them comes in. Considering we have had some people come in asking if we have them yet has been hilarious as well. There's...
