Every dealer who was questioned about x plan said they would honor it IF ford offered it. well.... its not offered. Dealers had a feeling that it wasnt going to be allowed
Thats understandable. there are absolutely still shady dealers out there. I think with the internet, reviews, and options out there, more of us are working to be good honest dealers. I obviously cant speak for everyone. I shoot for keeping thing upfront and transparent. I've been told i can be...
I get ya on the leary part, and appreciate you not putting me on blast with it. we just dont know and are just awaiting more info. were still in limbo in just trying to find out our actual allocation lol. im like most the people here, i just want a bronco lol.
theres the data for you lol. i get the hard numbers data. we also have a saying, documentation beats conversation. yeah, with x plan theres always a kick to the dealer, that amount varying per vehicle. i just pulled an example for you.
I dont care, neither do 90% of dealers. were fine with x plan if Ford we to offer x plan. most dealers doubted there would be x plan, but then us saying that is us just trying to "screw over the buyers"
its because we dont know what the official pricing structure will be. Ford has been slowly changing this, hence the Mach-e is priced the way it is. The margin has been slimming with Ford. We arent commiting until we can see true numbers from ford, instead of making statements and changing...
I cant advertise a vehicle i dont have. i said vehicles we have advertised that we have here on the lot. we havent decided anything on the Bronco so we arent making broken promises.(not saying any dealer is making broken promises). we are monitoring and awaiting information just like everyone else.
people can easily see our location lol. we havent decided how we will price out Broncos yet, but the policy for our dealer network is absolutely no ADM above sticker unless its an actual product added to the vehicle, i.e. lifts wheels and tires ect on trucks.
Correct. it will cost Ford all those kick backs. In our market every new vehicle is advertised less than x-plan. we havent sat down and worked up our plan on the Bronco as we are awaiting to see true costs, build sheets, ect. we are trying to make sure we are as accurate as we can be. Dealers...
wrong. it cost ford more than 200$ for x plan for each vehicle. Despite what it seems a lot of people think on here, dealers love x plan. there are plenty of markets where the x plan price is HIGHER than what dealers are advertising to stay competitive in the market.
Why didn't Ford give members of bronco national an x plan pin? It cost more to sign up on there to be a member and bronco nation is straight advertised on the Ford website. Its because Ford didn't want to see every bronco rolling put with x plan by abusing club sign ups.
You mean I'm sounding like a realist. I'm both a dealer, and a customer. Ford has always maintained stipulations on their plans, so when there was the "everyone go sign up on mca to get x plan"... it was inevitable.
