I suppose dirty doesn't necessarily mean bad. It's doing its job at least. Only concern with AFE is dry version it specifically says for street use. Still waiting on my s&b to arrive (backordered right after I ordered). EDIT: Cannot find where I read this about aFE.

You'll also want different wheels. I'd recommend +30 or less. +55 is same as your stock wheels.

Sorry for your loss. I know the auto trans can have random hick-ups (all are prone to them). I've had a similar incident where I gassed it from a stop and it froze up for a few seconds. Chances are it is OK if it drove home like normal.
