Set fake small tire size and/or 5.38 diff. Otherwise, I think Ford is contractually blocking ECU tuners from disabling the limiter. Ford marketing prefers low speed Bronco police chases, not ones ending with the white bronco flipping 47 times before catching fire.
It mostly depends on what ground clearance or look you want.
If a tie rod or CV axle fails, there is no guarantee that factory warranty would cover with 2" lift. It depends on your dealership and where you live. If dealer installs, they are probably more likely to ignore the lift for warranty...
Since you have factory bilsteins, it is not a terrible option. The bump stop spacer component will reduce the maximum wheel travel capability. The preload spacer will unbalance the up-travel to down-travel ratio (and ESVC). The strut spacer component will increase the max droop, max CV angle...
FYI, here is comparison of icon spacer vs. coilover lift (2.5-3").
They both have the same wheel droop and CV angle (determined by overall extended length). However, the Icon coilover has improved up-travel (shorter compressed length) and therefore improved overall wheel travel. The sasquatch...
Information concerning the Toyota IFS design doesn't apply. In Bronco, the coilover itself is the min and max bump stop and determines wheel travel. That is why the non-SAS, Badlands, SAS, and aftermarket wheel travel is different.
The non-sas "black" coilovers have limited articulation. If you use a lift that only adds external spacers (e.g. leveling kit), then articulation will not get worse. Preload spacers will harm typical articulation.
Upgrading to sasquatch or badlands bilstein take-offs will improve wheel travel...
Ford Performance may be an option. They are nicer finish, but probably same durability as stock.

It offers some incidental protection for transmission, exhaust, and front driveshaft (nowhere near full protection). It may be worth adding, if you are not installing a full aftermarket transmission skid.
Here is how the caster & camber adjustment is done for Bronco using the two cam bolts on the lower arms. If front alignment to spec is not possible, parts probably need to be replaced (bent, etc). Just look at the cams and see if they are already at min or max offset (no adjustment range left)...
Sounds overheating related? Maybe ABS brakes or transfer case. They may be getting a hard workout in sand without mechanical locker or LSD. I doubt turning off the traction stuff fully disables the ABS-based limited-slip differential. Does it start working again after a cooldown?
Long shot, but...
The engine response, traction control, and steering effort settings would apply to all Broncos including base manual without lockers. For example, the modes are the only way to change the steering effort.
Note that these old posts are speculative, so refer to the actual mode tables in the...
That sucks. If you are planning to make it all the the way back to WA, you would probably need to swap the battery 10-20 times (not practical). Also, there is a high risk of throwing engine fail codes if you start or run with low battery. I think you would be better off renting a tow dolly and...
I doubt adding a strut brace to a tall body-on-frame truck with soft suspension provides any benefit, but it looks good as far as engine bay decorations go.
There shouldn't be a difference. Swaybar disconnect is allowed in mud mode (allowed in any 4H/4L mode at low speed), it's just not the default. ABS could be a problem with erratic footwork or not using low gear on low traction downhill (not maintaining control).
The breather cap is crippling the crankcase emissions system and venting fumes to atmosphere, so there is no pressure or flow through the catch can. If you remove the breather, the engine will work properly and you should see some oil in the can. Removing the breather will also prevent an oily...
I notice subtle drivetrain vibration sometimes in 4A under heavy acceleration as well. I attributed this to lift (CV angle), but now I'm not sure. Have seen zero 4A vibration in my Raptor. Fortunately, 2H is acceptable for dry roads in Bronco since low engine power.
This may also be the reason...
Hoss3 replacement racks sold in november were packaged a month before the recall vehicles were built. Perhaps a chance that they were manufactured before the recalled racks...
