It wasn't clear to me, were you able to get a intelligent speed control functional without any speed sign camera issues? Or DTS(s) in ipma or pscm ( loss of communication)?
Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control in the APIM.
if you don't see it right way after adding, you may need to reset the APIM,
You can do this in the service Procedures. (it is like a reboot.)
I worked on this for a long time today, I got it workish. but like others I got the " Intelligent Cruise...
Short and simple..
Did load your existing profile when you started Forscan program?
If so, the existing profile wouldn't contain that module if you just added it.
Create a new profile so it can rescan for all the modules.
So I have a few questions. Other than programming did they get the tow module installed, brake brake lights turn lights reverse signal?
Also with the trailer tow module, that contains the relay for the 12v/ battery charger connection on the 7 pin.
Does that work?
The first the red arc brake...
Yup, I put them in my post. I added the same equipment piecemeal before lumen released their accessory package.
https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/diy-factory-tow-package-using-oem-parts-with-forscan-as-built-data-without-error-codes.49906/
I tried following what others said work for them. I had faults with the impa / front camera failure. I could not clear that.
I put everything back to original values to clear the troubles. I am not sure why it didn't work for me.
I'll try again this weekend, If someone else has better luck, can...
The brake controller is plug and play (the button or dial needs to be mounted.
The trailer control module ( what is the lumen package) could be $250.
The lumen tow package is a great value (my opinion) as it is essentially what you get from the factory, and cheaper than you could buy the parts...
I can enable it in forscan, but it gives me an error when you try to actually use it.
I have also used FDRS to enable the tow option, it does not add this function.
Are you talking about lumens brake controller, or the trailer control module?
Lumen release the trailer control module recently, but there's no lights to that.
The brake controller knob will light up depending what modes it's on. I think that's what you're talking about which is something...
So some of those errors don't look related to anything you should have changed. Were they there before?
You said they differ from yours. What were they before because I did indicate what they before and after values should be.
Did you clear the error codes to see if they came back?
Did you...
I did run it on the inside, talked it from the elements, corrosion, damage.
The path it takes isn't really all that important, inside the panels was easiest for me.
The location in the first picture I have in the post is location I chose for my ground point. There are already grounds (we are talking chassis ground, -battery) there, it's a good location that's clean from paint etc.
The other side of that ground wire is in the seven pin connector.
You can...
Oh that's simple. That's not pin 40. That's pin 42 you pluginto.
Look one row up on the other side of the connector. It will show 40
And on the other side of the connector you'll a gray wire with a brown stripe.
That also could be the reason it won't snap incorrectly
It doesn't look right cuz that's not where the ground wire goes, and it looks like you used a much larger gauge wire than could fit.
pin 40 should be for the reverse lights.
