    I hope you’re wrong. NHTSA shouldnt be concerned with warranties, they should care about SAFETY. This isn’t a financial or quality issue. Extending the warranty doesn’t prevent the engine from dying on a 4 lane highway with kids in the truck.

    This is what I did. I believe I was the first person to ever use duct tape on a new bronco.

    I had my doors off once, didn’t follow any special procedure, and didn’t have any issues. This scares the crap out of me though. I think this makes the top 3 safety issues list for me: 1. 2.7L valve explosions 2. Doors off brake slamming 3. Flimsy tie rods
