My 3.5 has not skipped a beat. I have had a handful of Ford engines 4 - 8 cylinders with great success. However, my 460 did leak a little, but it is (was) common; what a beast.
I noticed in your avatar this Bronco will be your "future wife's". If that is the case I recommend:
1. If she is an outdoorsy person go with the Badlands.
2. If she hates camping and loves the mall go with the OBX.
Final thought, happy wife happy life.
Cheers
$1900 dang. I have already spoken to the Chalmers person handling the Bronco orders and they said MSRP. I will swing by in the next couple weeks and get an update and let you all know.
I agree with you that Warn winches are great winches. However, keep in mind HF winches are made by winch companies and not HF. When I had my HF 8K winch it was a Milemarker and it was a workhorse. Not sure who makes them now.
I have mentioned before the HF winch worked 100s of times for me. However, the winch was slower than a Warn at four times the price, but adding a minute to its operation was money well spent on the HF. Furthermore, I will go synthetic line as mentioned above. I may go for the Q Stealth...
2nd week of Aug and it will not be my daily driver. I am always weighing my options and I am flexible either way. If something else scratches my need who knows.
I agree, that is why I was thinking the 1.5. I need to do some research. You could keep it to the Nissan family and do a SR20DET swap, which has been done successfully.
