I've been logging with Fuelly and noticed and increase from ~17/18 to ~20 now at 8k miles. The dash seems to read about 1mpg high and mpg varies a little bit even tank to tank but there still seems to be a broader trend up toward 20 or slightly above. I have had some outlier 22mpg tanks too but...
I agree - I would be very curious to see a quantification of the effectiveness. The stroke travel is only 1.5" and I would guess more would be needed to be comparable to a disconnect but let us see. (note: both sides have 1.5" stroke but it doesn't function additively if you math it out)

Hmm - there seem to be two bolts marked HB2 in that diagram. I'm looking for the one that connects the four corners of the hook bracket to the bumper frame. I think its a 14 or 15mm
Is the presence of the hook the only difference between the modular and non-modular brackets or are there other differences in terms of the dimensions and how the skid plate bolts up?
Same - I ran the harness out of the opening between the support and bumper frame on the far driver side but don't have enough length to reattach the plug. Any advice?
