I read in another thread about this manufacturing trend of "piping in" fake engine noises into the vehicle's sound system. And that maybe it's difficult to turn off. So my question is, will the Bronco have this dumb thing by default, and will I be able to disable it easily?
I'm having a difficult time wrapping my brain around this also. i suppose it is a way to help ease the pain of no rumbling V8 for those whiners out there that complain about it? Either way, this shit is going to be disabled one way or another on my new Ocnorb. Maybe it could come in handy for...
Absolutely 2-door for me. I would like the bigger fuel tank but eh. I can grab some Rotopax or something. No kids and no dogs, even if I did, the answer is still 2 door for me.
It doesn't - it's the title of his videos that are the clickbait. Also, Scotty doesn't seem aware of the fact that the 6-cyl is twin turbo over a single on the 4. Had he known that, he'd tell you not to buy the thing at all for any reason. I'll admit that I'm concerned about this myself, and...
Best to wait for aftermarket for diff covers, which there are already a ton of options for the D44 axle anyways. True offroaders will prefer a heavy duty steel cover over aluminum.
Did anyone notice the black box on the rear window? I'm assuming its an additional 3rd brake light in case one...
Link for the lazy
Hah, I just watched some of that one. He talks about the Bronco engines for not even a minute and a half of that video. The rest is like his other videos lately, just rambling Q&A.
This thread has me not feeling to good about the auto anymore...all this gear hunting and learning sounds like crap that I don't want to have to live with.
I am sure that Ford has engineered the tailgate to handle the weight of the spare. You can see in some shots (check the 2-door cargo space thread) where there are two latches which would help. In any case, I am sure that rear bumper with tire swing-out arms on them will become a thing. It will...
I wouldn't be surprised if they only made a hybrid version of the Sport/Baby Bronco. Doesn't seem like they'd have a lot of room to work with for batteries in the Bronco, although miracles can be made with enough 18650/21700 cells.
I just wish I could know if the reservations would count for Velocity Blue, or if I just have to keep waiting that out. I kinda don't want to lock into a dealer and give them an excuse to be scummy though, anyways. Seems to be the case with some reservations.
I've been driving and fixing 20+ year old shitboxes for years now, and I'm excited that finally a modern vehicle comes along that actually catches my interest and actually seems worth the cost of admission, unlike so many others. I've saved a lot of money by driving those shitboxes, and it's...
That's what I'm worried about too. It's common in Jeep XJ's for the alternator to get hosed on the later models for this reason for those that wheel them.
Yes, a man of culture! I am personally stoked to crank some Blue Danube while traversing some tricky trails...LOL. Also, WNY/CNY gang checking in. Im planning a camping trip to St. Regis in a couple weeks from now!
