I tried through Granger via Zach but everything I've been advised to try has been a dead end. Apparently if my order hadn't been converted they could have sacrificed one of my reservations and transferred the res date to the other but since Granger converted it that's no longer an option.
Sorry. This is a long story but here is a somewhat short summary.
I have an October/Grangetober save $2k Granger reservation. Have a business in W. Des Moines so going up there to pickup no big deal.
Placed a second reservation in Feb 2021 local thinking after getting first one I might want...
My 4Runner didn't come with the homelink type feature and I park outside. Not wanting the opener to be in the car just in case we put the MyQ system on it years ago. Works like a charm right from your phone and has proven to be useful for many other things. Maybe that would work here...
Thank you for the clarification. So Granger said they would allow the order to be transferred to another dealer if that dealer accepted it? Odd. I've been told once it's an order I had to place another order and then have Ford corp swap the reservation dates on the orders. But Ford corp...
You trying to transfer an order or are you trying to transfer a reservation from Granger? What are they telling you needs to happen to transfer whichever you've got? I'm kind of stuck here myself and am being patient and polite but am curious what others are being told.
Same philosophy works with cell phones right? Manufacturers are totally thrilled to continue updating old tech so we can hold onto our devices instead of buying new ones.
This is it in a nutshell for me. The current/upcoming class of EV's will be the test group. This push and the clear issues with Lithium batteries will drive development of other options (hydrogen?) that will make your Rivian or similar the Beta Max of our era.
Unless they're outlawed, ICE...
Nope. It's because all the missing Septembers and Octobers were sent to the mega dealers who currently have them in their showrooms with an ADM on them in case some poor fool buys them.
In addition to the allocation flip/flop t seems ford has also lowered the conversion rate according to some on this site. So there are definitely a number of them a dealership can do this with and not tick ford off.
Isn't the one on the left for garage storage and the one on the right for onboard storage?
One on the left (not the second bullet point)
One on the right
Get the BD, drive it and have fun and when the BL comes around upgrade and sell the BD. Seems pretty clear to me. Gets you in on the fun but allows you to test out what you want/need/dislike/etc so you can better fine tune the BL
For instance, maybe you're happy with the sound in the BD. No...
