I think these guys are doing a great job in reacting to this and am looking forward to getting the updated pieces. But with potential rubbing, noises, ticking, clicking I'm almost wondering if a long term solution for them would be to "sleeve" the cylinder (branded of course and in different...
It does seem the easiest fix is to put a barrier of some kind on the cylinder rather than the roll bar. Was even thinking the loop side of some black velcro on the cylinder would work.
Take this one.
Reorder when the order banks open back up and ask them to 99 that one.
Un-99 your new order when they introduce the painted MOD tops.
Drive this one until that one comes in.
??????
Sell this one then
Profit - no seriously, you might profit depending upon how long that takes.
I feel like even if this were the case for many folks on 6g there would still be a number of them that would complain that they had to go cash the check. "Doesn't Ford know they're screwing us by making us drive to the bank when gas is so $$$$$".
You weren't in the wrong. Nothing wrong with tracking one that might come free. It's not like you offered them $10k over to screw the order holder. You let them know you might be interested if something fell through. There are TONS on this forum that have done the same I'm sure. Either...
Not just a frameless or Bronco issue. My 2017 4Runner does this when the driver or passenger window is down about 2". Friends 2020 does the same. If you roll it down another inch or two the rattle goes away. Maybe the same in the Bronco?
Always been a truck guy. I had planned on keeping my 2006 F150 crew cab until the Bronco came out. Unfortunately in 2017 I got hit by the Triton 5.4 oil issue and it looked like the engine would eventually become a problem. A little miffed about the 5.4 issue I opened up my search to more than...
Never got an email when Granger converted my res to an order in 3/21 and never heard anything in October most likely because they had me as an order. Possible the wrong email was input or many are saying the Ford system doesn't work great. Not sure what happened there.
When I placed my other...
I wasn't looking for the price protection. With all the info out there about the allocation situation I valued the flexibility of a possible move a bit more than price protection. I should have been more clear than Not Yet apparently so I'll own that but there has to be a way to move these...
Price protection is great and all but frankly I'm not thrilled with how Granger has handled this since I brought it up and am not feeling warm and fuzzy about buying from them at this point. I'd rather scour every option to move the timestamp on the granger flub to the actual order I placed.
Ok great. Not yet seems pretty clear to me but you are correct in that they had so many orders things can get confused. I'd advise anyone else who thinks they have a reservation with Granger to check and be sure they weren't converted in the confusion.
My build is Badlands, Ox white, 4dr, lux...
I get that I'm likely screwed but the other dealership requested similar on my reservation with them and I told them the same. They did not change the reservation to an order. If it wasn't a reservation I'd be able to move it just fine.
I'm not sure how. Below is the email with my responses in bold.
Thanks for reaching out Sean and welcome to the team. I am waiting till 22 please. As to the below
In summary:
1. B&P your Bronco. NOT YET WAITING 22
2. Permission to Convert your Order Yes or No. NOT...
