Isn’t that the definition of engine braking? The 10-speed also skip shifts unless you are hard into it or in sport mode. I know some transmissions won’t spin a set a clutches when you run in manual all the time, which leads to premature transmission wear and failure as it doesn’t get oil up...

Noticed ours started acting up after getting a bunch of snow/ice on it this weekend. It’s pretty tricky so you don’t wrap any fingers around the door handle (for the unlock) and confuse the system.

There was chatter in the video comments about the 4A setting and that being the likely cause of the issues in the 4XE. When TFL did the Bronco/4XE comparison with running the 4XE in full electric on the trail, I think they only made it a few miles in electric only.

I have to agree. The tank skid is way beefier than I thought it would be. I’ve got no problems dragging it over rocks.

I’m a little biased and think EG looks the best when a little dirt and snow is added in the mix.

I thought I had a good day too but we were there last week. 😂 That first obstacle was line choice too. My wife picked her line and drove right up with zero issues and that was her first time driving offroad. Line choice is the key (lockers and sway bar disconnect help though).
