  1. 37s on the Trails. Any rubbing?

Not mine but a local CO Bronco. His 37’s don’t rub, at least that I could hear from the outside.
  2. Bronco Team 2 door.

Just some wheeling from this week.
  3. (Lots of) Colorado Broncos out in the wild today

I’m in the same boat as a lot of people. I’m on Facebook for the groups anymore. IMHO, the group is worth it. Also a bit better for announcing small, local things as it seems to have a better turnout.
  4. Driving your 2.7L manual gear.

Engine braking is actually using the engine’s compression to slow the vehicle down. Yes , the gears have a bit more resistance due to turning faster in the same oil with the same viscosity but almost all of the engine braking is a resulting of the ā€œreverse torqueā€ applied back from the engine...
  5. Driving your 2.7L manual gear.

Isn’t that the definition of engine braking? The 10-speed also skip shifts unless you are hard into it or in sport mode. I know some transmissions won’t spin a set a clutches when you run in manual all the time, which leads to premature transmission wear and failure as it doesn’t get oil up...
  6. (Lots of) Colorado Broncos out in the wild today

    Just for you Bro šŸ’‹
  7. Flourman

    Colorado Bronco Club

I got mine from Barbee’s and worked with Dustin. I agree. Top notch, no frills, the finance guy didn’t try to sneak anything in. I highly recommend them as well.
  8. Door handle lock buttons

If it’s never unlocking the passenger side, that’s a setting you can change. We were going through it with my wife and I said ā€œit should open all doors when you do that so you don’t have to unlock manually for the other passengersā€. She corrects me and says ā€œwell you’re not a womanā€ and I...
  9. Rock climbing fail - flipover

You forgot to quote the sentence before that.
  10. Rock climbing fail - flipover

Nail on the head there. He defends his driving by ā€œfinding the bronco weak pointsā€. He just likes the skinny pedal too much and definitely needs to take some air out of the tires or get less stiff tires. ā€˜In the end, it’s his money so he can do what he wants. The bigger deal is he’s...
  11. Door handle lock buttons

Noticed ours started acting up after getting a bunch of snow/ice on it this weekend. It’s pretty tricky so you don’t wrap any fingers around the door handle (for the unlock) and confuse the system.
  12. Trail Recon: 4xe Vs. Bronco... We all know which is better

There was chatter in the video comments about the 4A setting and that being the likely cause of the issues in the 4XE. When TFL did the Bronco/4XE comparison with running the 4XE in full electric on the trail, I think they only made it a few miles in electric only.
  13. Do Badlands Full Bash Plates Include the Fuel Tank on 2 Door

I have to agree. The tank skid is way beefier than I thought it would be. I’ve got no problems dragging it over rocks.
  14. ERUPTION GREEN Bronco Club

I’m a little biased and think EG looks the best when a little dirt and snow is added in the mix.
  15. AUX wiring suggestions and example ARB compressor installation

Awesome stuff!! I love 12V wiring and have worked myself into making it more and more professional looking (rather than a garage hack) over the years. I LOVE the Tesa tape. Really makes wiring look factory. The connectors are a great idea.
  16. Living with 2-doors

Update! Definitely a process to get them to slide. Have to let the seat lean forward then push on the bottom to get it to slide. Only the passenger seat does this, driver stays locked on the slider. To get the passenger seat to go to the same position on the slider when folding back, you have...
  17. Could this be modified to be a hard top lift?

That price is a two pack. It just really think it doesn’t take a $200 thing to lift a top.
  18. Could this be modified to be a hard top lift?

I really think the $30 kayak hoists will work for a hoist.
  19. Went to Moab Off Rodeo...why didn't i get a sasquatch!

I thought I had a good day too but we were there last week. šŸ˜‚ That first obstacle was line choice too. My wife picked her line and drove right up with zero issues and that was her first time driving offroad. Line choice is the key (lockers and sway bar disconnect help though).
