My biggest issue is that I need to arrange travel from Charleston, SC to Philly for pickup. I want that thing sitting at the dealership for the smallest possible amount of time, for fear that they'll sell it out from underneath me, or that there will be damage from sitting on the lot. I also...
I called my dealer rep this morning, but he was out of the office. The guy I spoke to was able to give me the rail car number, but CSX's automated system said "No status available". I assume that means it hasn't left the rail yard in Wayne, or wherever they bulk ship from.
Edit: I checked with...
This is something I've been wondering about for some time, and figured I'd have to make the guesses myself next spring, when the hardtop will go back on. Thanks for the great work!
Did Bestop say anything about replacing the soft parts?

My truck just changed status to Shipped! Glad I started working on financing options this morning!
No rail car number, yet. Hopefully I'll be able to get that within the next couple days.

Your blend date and build date might be the same day. For me, blend was 26-SEP, build was 28-SEP. This is likely because I had MIC, tow, and high packages, which probably required additional work after the truck came off the line.

Blend is when the body and the chassis meet on the line. Built is when all the electronics and components are installed, the computers are online, and it's a driveable vehicle.

I got my "Built" email last night, with an expected delivery date of 13-OCT and 19-OCT. My dealer rep hasn't responded to my last several emails. This dude better not be ducking me because he sold the damn thing.

I saw a Cobb tuner listed on Panda's website, but it looks like it's sold out on a second look.
I hadn't looked that closely at the Panda and JB4 devices, but the point remains that a turbo V6 is going to end up having tuner support after enough of them get out on the road to make it a...
This is true, but it was the same way for the Coyote and Ecoboost Mustang when they were released. It'll take some time for tuners to proliferate, but it looks like Cobb and Panda are already tuning for the 2.7L. How good they are, I can't say, but Cobb is pretty well respected in the hot hatch...
A couple things about these tunes, coming from the Mustang community.
1 - These are locked to your VIN. You cannot sell this like you would with an SCT, n-Guage, or HP Tuners RTD, should you sell your truck.
2 - These require an SAE-certified mechanic to install them. It does NOT need to be...
According to the thread here, when the modules pop online, the vehicle has been built, and is "alive". There might be additional work that needs to be done, but presumably, the engine has been started, it's off the production line, and has moved to an area where things can be completed. At some...
And this is why I buy ALL car parts using a credit card that has a very solid protection plan. If anything goes wrong, I contact them, and have them investigate. If the retailer/seller doesn't make it right, they'll do a chargeback and then you're not out your hard earned money.

I've watched several videos of the install process. It's a bunch of brackets, but removal of everything should be fairly straightforward. In Charleston, I'd use the hard top during the summer and the soft top during the winter. What I'm still trying to figure out is whether or not you need new...
