Cash isn’t king at dealerships, and won’t get you any discounts IMO. That doesn’t imply you should finance, just that dealers prefer you do, therefore aren’t going to discount a cash purchase.

I don’t disagree, but seems a really dumb corporate model to Price Protect some sales, but let dealers mark up stock ones $5,000 or more. Seems like Ford would want to clear out any remaining price protected orders, then raise prices $3,000 or more across the board. That would make sense for...

Ok. If I’m reading all the responses correctly , those with early reservations , say 2020 do not need COVP? That would certainly simplify my situation and make getting PP a little less uncertain. Thanks

Do we agree we ALL need COVP? What if dealer never mentioned it during my original reservation conversion ? Is Price protection predicated on COVP. ?
