My front parking assist alarm was going off whenever I was coming to a stop. Figured it out. The tilting license plate holder was tilted out slightly. The sensors were picking it up. Push it all the way in and your issues are solved.
I have a stinger 500amp relay on an uplifter. It powers my warm winch. The installer put in a 150 amp resettable fuse on the positive cable which I think is undersized.
what size fuse should be there and what brand do you like?
Serling points is that with two people you can pretty easily remove the center portion and then open your soft top. I've enjoyed that. And the rack has been invaluable moving cargo on long trips. Downside: You need blue loktite on all fasteners, all of them. Or they will back out...
I’m currently visiting Washington and Oregon. Camping and exploring trails. I’m really confused by the passes. US forest service has a pass $30
National forest pass has another, “America the beautiful” pass for $80.
I think that one covers the US forestry land. But I’m not sure about...
My 12” snd main display are very dim. It is defaulting to night mode. I manually change it to day mode. It’s still dim but better. The brightness level adjust won’t go over half way. I’m thinking I read there is a reset. But I don’t know how. Any ideas? I’m traveling.
Funny that I haven’t seen this discussion. I’m assuming the winching vehicle should not be in park. But rather parking breaks or regular breaks. Yes?
For my 4d soft top, I’ve got a full roof rack by Raket. Over 60mph the wind noise gets pretty bad. Snapping Sounds like a flag waving at similar speeds. Raket doesn’t have a front wind deflector yet, but if you have a similar rack, did a wind Deflector improve the wind noise? Something like...
I'm planning out a warn winch. the forums mention a possible parasitic battery draw. Is that possible, maybe an Bluetooth thing,,, and how would you address that? Using a relay on an uplifter switch, or a battery disconnect on the winch comes to mind.
