I ordered direct from Husky. Didnāt get an order update or anything but rather emails from FedEx with the shipping info. Guess Iāll find out on Friday what they sent me.
I ordered the Husky X-Act liners on Saturday and tonight I got two separate shipment emails from FedEx/Husky. That seems really fast given how long it seems people are waiting. Maybe they got a batch in this week?
I haven't gotten the warning in a few weeks now. Happened twice in late Nov/early Dec but not since. Service guy at dealer thought it was just all the modules learning how to talk to each to other, firing in the wrong order sometimes and that it would work itself out. Seems like that might be...
Anyone able to get a picture of the rear short rack? I mostly need the roof rack for skis and that size would probably be enough. I contacted the company asking for a photo but haven't heard back.
Someone please be the guinea pig and order the M2DZ9955100BA kit and let me know what you receive. :) (Trying to get my dealer to find out but nothing yet.)
Thanks. I have my Bronco so this is a dealer option for me. Same $475 on parts, which is fine for me with the FordPass points. I don't get the sense that they have installed one of the yet on a Bronco (it's a small dealer) so the parts guy quoted 3.2 hours but I'll check with service when they...
@flip Do you know whether the hitch assembly (MB3Z19D520A) or wiring kit (FT1Z15A416A) includes the 4 pin plug (or 4/7 plug) that would go on the hitch so the wiring is not just dangling out there? Or would my dealer need to order more components to make this like a factory install?
Thanks for posting. 44 simple steps!
I think me not breaking all the panel clips would the hardest part. š
Will have to calculate the value of my time, since I can see this taking up much of a weekend for me.
Hoping I'm not asking something previously answered in this thread, but I read through the pages and don't think I saw anything...
I had my dealer order these parts (so I can use my FordPass points):
- MB3Z19D520A - Trailer Hitch Assembly
- FT1Z15A416A - Trailer Tow Wiring Kit
They are quoting...
They seem to forget it's there every time they get in. Maybe the angle of the grab bar is awkward for them? I should probably try climbing in the back myself to see what would be useful, but I agree with that it seems it would work well in the back.
On the front I could see myself just holding...
For those of you that have installed these, are you hitting your heads on them getting into or out of the car? (If you're not grabbing them.) I can see my kids using these to get into the 2nd row but debating on the front.
Keeping mine as an early warning system. Iāve already had a couple close calls pulling into some parking garages - if the overhead hits the antenna a few inches too low I know to get out and check to be sure the roof will clear.
I don't love the look of the Gatorbacks, but my rear fenders look like this every day so I don't think I can wait for Rokblokz or Weathertech to make some. I may just bite the bullet and get the plain black Gatorbacks (and seeing what spews up behind me...probably should be nice and get rear...
Are you happy with these? I didn't want a logo so spending less for plain black seems like a win. Just not sure if I should wait to see what RokBlokz puts out...although given we're in the middle of winter here and I have snow and slush freezing up all over my fenders and door handles, not sure...
I mentioned above, the finance guy at my dealer is looking into this for me. He thinks it'll cost around $600-800...which is just about the replacement price for a new OEM windshield. Not sure if that's better than windshield coverage through insurance.
