When you run in 4wd or under heavy acceleration does it still point to the sky? That’s the biggest complaint I have with the stock fox springs. Fox fumbled them and should make it right. It’s not like these coilovers were cheap.
Crazy it took 2/3 weeks for warranty approval probably the dealer dragging their feet. Mine ordered a new top the next day after they took pictures. I made sure to show them the GSB though. No wiggiling out of that one.
I’ve never had and air/oil separator. I kinda feel like they’re gimmicky. Sure they fill up with stuff but it would just burn off in the engine anyways. I’m waiting for Rakuten to pop 25% off and ford to run 25% off then I’ll pick up the hoss steering rack.
20% off code is shop824, if you use Rakuten you can get an additional 2.5% cash back. If you use this link WWW.RAKUTEN.COM/R/STEVEN15617 on Rakuten I’ll get $30 and you’ll get an additional 10% cash back bringing the total discount to 32.5% off. It’s not a scam they just cut me a check for $80...
Yeah it’s frustrating forsure. The front is fine it’s just the rear that’s too soft. Fox forsure screwed up. Worst case I’ll just pony up for the $300 Eibachs and be done with it.
I’ve been emailing back and forth with fox about this, the rep I’ve been talking to said a rear kit is in the works 6-8 weeks and that has a 20% more spring rate than the current spring.
I have the same thing going on. I adjusted the preload and got it level but the ride in the rear is a lot more stiff and in 4A it squats horribly bad. Fox has a spring kit coming out in 6-8 weeks. They’ve realized they screwed up. Not sure if they’re gonna help out with cost or not. I want to...
When I had my wrangler that thing had nasty body roll. I ended up putting in a Hellwig swaybar, and it took a lot of it out surprisingly. It did affect articulation, but you could just unbolt the sway bar when you’re wheeling.
I second what this guy said, the rears are way too soft. I emailed fox and their solution was to crank them down .5 an inch to bring the rear up 1 inch. It helped but now the ride in the rear is as harsh as stock. I was able to adjust mine fairly easy on the bronco with a set of spring...
