Are F'in kidding me, Ford?
OK - so an hour and a half of messing with this passenger side plug and I'm throwing in the towel! This is a PLUG? By definition it should be able to unplug - AND THEN PLUG BACK IN. It unplugged alright. But nothing I've tried has been able to get it to...
I guess I can see some noob believing that a switch that is off (e.g. "pressure switch") will drain your battery just because some "so called expert" once told them that. But "4x4truckleds.com" falling for that crap??? Just.....damn.....
Dude, you sell 12v lighting for a living! You're...
I read your post on that. Odd that my drivers side doesn't do anything to the light. I can unplug it completely and the light still works (well...works the same....flickering like crazy). Whereas unplugging passenger side shuts it off totally.
Well....I'll try gooping more dielectric in...
Saw that. Tried that. No help.
If it is connection related, it has to be that passenger side connection. I'm not able to get it to snap back in place fully. It plugs in but will not "click". Checked pins and all are straight.
Drivers side goes on and off easily but there's only 2...
After installing a new rear bumper, I needed to extend the wiring for the license plate light. After hooking it up, I’m noticing some really bad flicker. (See video below)
Flicker rate is actually much faster IRL than the iPhone can capture.
One thing I noticed, but I never tested before, if...
When it gets ugly - I just "UNWATCH". Problem solved.
I have only blocked one member in the 4 years I've been here. So not too bad in my book.
(don't ask "was that ME???" because if it were, I wouldn't see it anyway 😜)
Not telling anybody what to do or not to do. This is just legal food for thought. Give it all the consideration you feel it deserves......
It has been said that carrying a pistol in your vehicle vs. on your person at all times is dangerous.
If a situation were to occur that required the...
Fortune favors the bold, my friend. I look forward to your impressions once you receive it.
As a person who does a fair bit of manufacturing in China, my big concern is that the price just seems way too high to me. If I were to have one of my factories I work with make this, I would...
LOL @ this thread title. "bought an aux fuel tank - WARNING NO POLITICS"
Yeah....I Can see how somebody mentioning adding a gas tank might encourage lectures on abortion, gun control or Epstein.
Looks good.
I used $80 roll-on DIY bedliner for my Gladiator hard top that was damaged in a rollover and it too came out good. I did a couple coats of clear poly over the top for UV protection.
Is this product they applied to your Bronco UV stable? Or can it fade or discolor after a...
I did not like having my license plate on the driver side. So I fab up my own bracket out of some angle, iron and attached it to the passenger side.
Just about done with fabbing up a relocation bracket for the third brake light as well
Holy Hannah! Here we go again! Another "what use is a snorkel thread". 😴😴😴😴😴😴
A better thread would be "why the f you care what somebody else puts on their rig". Now *THAT'S* a thread I'd grab the popcorn over.
There is no end to the useless and/or downright fugly things I've seen...
This is a great suggestion! I can see now where that would actually not be too difficult to do.
Unfortunately, I've already purchased and installed the LOD camera kit (which is nice, BTW). But a good tip for future buyers. Maybe save that money and put toward lighting or something better.
You can’t use one wire for two modes so routing two wires is what you need to do. Agree with above that factory wire is too thin for that bar.
So wire it like manufacturer instructions show: upfitter wire to a relay. Output of relay to the lights. Times two (one for each set of lights)...
My logic: if I’m gonna roll the bones, I’m doing it on the cheap.
Ditched that “buy once, cry once” mindset decades ago. Price does not equal performance or longevity. Neither does name recognition.
I accept that ANYTHING I buy has a risk of failure. And, while I my cry while swapping out...
UPDATE: Adding the LOD Swing Away tire Carrier
Only two "cons" for this piece:
Same as mentioned in the bumper install. Not a single lock washer or NyLoc nut. Man, LOD must drive on pillows or something to not be thinking about fasteners vibrating loose. Unlike the bumper, there is...
If I *HAD* to? Like in: "pick one, or suffer a slow agonizing death?"
Wreath.
I would then proceed to fashion it into a noose and hang myself off the roof rack with it.
Merry Christmas!!!
