"MOST" of those wash off. Every desert run the Jeep or Bronco will come back looking like it's ruined! But after a good wash, you'll see that's dirt from the desert shrubbery. That said, after a year or so THERE WILL BE MICRO SCRATCHES no matter how much you wax. Can't get away from it here...
I was under the impression that a Ford installed procal DID NOT void the warranty? Or is that just the factory warranty? It sounds like you are saying that the ESP is worthless once you tune with procal?
I don't know, and I don't have a raptor yet, BUT I have read that this comes in to play when tinkering with the audio system. My Wildtrack is base audio, sub delete so it's pretty easy to mod. The B&O guys mostly use the Mobridge setup and I've heard no issues with that. Seems to me I read...
Test drove a raptor today, it was similar to my wildtrack but much more powerful. Had a chance to play with the exhaust modes and it left me with a question. With the windows open I could definitely hear the differences between the 4 modes. However, with the windows closed at times it seemed...
Coming from a Jeep the JPG size was 800x800 and that seems to work on my bronco. Use MP3Tag to embed the jpg into the file. Also if your jpgs are too large, Microsoft has some powertoys to enable you to resize your files in a batch.
Before I got my 2024 RUBI X I purchased a 2019 RUBI (this is in 2023). Went thru a large and small battery, and 9 days after I had purchased it the radio bricked. Fortunately, it was certified so the dealer wound up replacing the radio (and the batteries).
The jeep is a fun vehicle, as is...
That is true. The Jeeps have a "Go Kart" feel to them. While this is fine / entertaining around town or on a short trip (< 2 hours), drive one from Yellowstone to Phoenix (2 days (8 hours / day)) or even the Grand Canyon to Phoenix (5.5 hours). The Jeep probably won't "beat you up" but YOU...
I'm looking at a 2023 Raptor, I have a 2023 Wildtrack. The raptor will probably meet all my requirements EXCEPT the previous owner changed the wheels. Being somewhat of a purist, that's a long-term no-go for me. I like the raptor or wildtrack wheels and would want to get back there.
That...
Vibration in the front end. Can range from vary minor to extreme severe vibrations and a feeling of "uncontrolability" (essentially scaring the crap out of the driver).
That is an excellent assessment. We just drove my wife's GV70 from Phoenix to Vegas for the bronco off rodeo. The Genesis is a dream to drive. The bronco while not as smooth or quiet as the GV70 is close. The Bronco is the perfect vacation / road trip vehicle if you're going to an area where...
I may be able answer some of that. The Jeep guys will tell you that they love their Jeeps. It has an iconic look, the manual transfer case, less electronics (G.O.A.T. modes), not as much "driver's aids" etc. THIS IS JUST MY OPINION: a winch looks natural on the front of a Jeep, it looks out...
Do it!!! I had a 24 Rubicon X and now drive a 23 Wildtrack (thinking of going to a Raptor). My jeep was reliable; I'd still say the bronco is a better vehicle. One the road the Bronco outperforms the Rubi in every way. Off road there are somethings it's better at and some that it's not. I'd...
Joe (the PnP guy) will explain the difference between the two methods. He's excellent about answering the phone if you call him and should be able to answer all your questions.
