So that mean the total length of cable that is looped around the eye bolts with the Crosby clamps is then about 6ish inches (1.5 before the first clamp 1.5 after that then 1.5 after that = ~6inche
Not everyone off roads there vehicles. That doesn’t mean I don’t love my Bronco. And I certainly don’t want to be treated less because I want my vehicle taken care of nicely when it’s at a dealer. That’s precicely why I don’t like going to the dealer
Just got my Lange hoist today. Reading through the instructions and curious what is meant by a sidewall mount. It says it is not recommended but I don’t know what they mean.
I’m planning a wall mount for my hoist vs celijg mount and wanted to know is there a min distance the power unit...
Hey heli - contractor says he wants to use OSB vs plywood for the sheathing. It’s cheaper. Will this still work? I don’t mind paying extra for plywood..

Thanks goat. I’m an overthinker - sucks. :). I’ll probably for sure use screws vs nails and sheathing though. I’d rather be safe than sorry since this is going to be hanging for 6 months at a time and winch wall mount vs ceiling mount
Appreciate your feedback!!
Thanks. Someone earlier has posted that lateral forces would pull away vertical studs as they are not designed for that force and thus needed reinforcing.
Would hate to have the winch rip loose so am just trying to take precaution. I like Helios sheathing idea. Seems like a reasonably...
