I just bought a matte black one from Ford. It was just down the street. Now I have to hope the old one didn’t leave shadowing on the paint since this new OEM one is smaller

1) is this OEM or aftermarket? 2) what size length is it? The OEM badge seems an inch or two shorter than the one I have on now 3) is yours metal or plastic?

Unless I am mistaken, Ford now has a black OEM broncos script that you can order that takes the place of the standard badges on the vehicle. I would like to buy the OEM version versus the aftermarket which I have not had very good luck with staying on the car, does anyone know this part number...

Also can you use this trim restorer OVER the 3 in 1 wax spray or is it in lieu of?

I have not. Is this safe on the MIC top? Have you used it? If it’s like ultimate black I’d be scared because ultimate black has solvents.

Ok well I’ll try it. Really upset about this strip and totally confused how it got there. I had a piece of blue painters tape on there with cardboard to cover the window from breaking during a move but the tape didn’t even stick to the top and fell right off like paper so I don’t understand...

4 were here but only two lifted it out. The other two were moving things out of the way etc.

Update: Team of 2 strong people got it out the doors safely without damage. Tilted it on its side. Next adventure: Install electric hoist in garage next week.

Where did you get the Velcro strap? I’d like to also find a heavy duty one and add it to thr opposite side of the Hook

It sucks. I’m OCD. But I’m guessing lots of these plates will have chipping paint. I’d just coat the chipped area with touch up paint.

Yes I need to fully be able to drive under it. If I can make it 1 foot or less from the top of the ceiling to the top of the hard top this will work.

Yep. My challenge is I need to be at EXACTLY 1 foot or less or I’m screwed. PS - Instructions say to install the Crosby clamps with the nut side facing the longer length of cable. Yours look different. Does it matter?
