  1. HD Modular Front Bumper Fog Lights - Brush Guard?

The winch is actually ideal. The Warn Zeon 10 with synthetic line is perfect. Fast, super reliable, good weight, just the right load capacity, symmetrical. It's a great winch. And I don't know that it's going to mess up approach angles too much - it's close to the grill and as high as you can...
  2. HD Modular Front Bumper Fog Lights - Brush Guard?

My big question, in addition to having curiosity about the fog light, has to do with the trail cam system, radar and adaptive cruise functionality still fully working with the winch installed. I have to say I’m not loving the facroty winch kit - it’s just kind of a big box hanging off the front...
  3. Cactus Gray and Area 51

That’s a drag if you’ve known someone that happened to. I know a lot of Tesla owners and I’ve had mine for multiple years. They have a pretty amazing quality record. None of the owners I know has had an issue. Ironically, Iā€˜m the only person I personally know that has any significant issue...
  4. Our Q&A (and Photos) From the First 2021 Bronco Ride Along Event

Based on experience with the F150, Raptor and Ranger suspension, I will be looking at Fox and Icon. So, since I'm going Badlands, guess I don't need to do Sasquatch at all.
  5. Our Q&A (and Photos) From the First 2021 Bronco Ride Along Event

Modular hard top is a factory option that looks to just swap the cargo portion of the hard top with one that has the pop out windows. Would be challenging after market as you would need to replace the rear shell.

Front row driver (1), front row passenger (2), second row (3), cargo area rear (4), cargo window driver (5), cargo window passenger (6)
  7. Report: 2022 Bronco Hybrid Will Get a 3.0-Liter V6, Up To 450+ HP

I hear you @gryphon1231, totally. There is a lot to prove. But, like @Broncofly said, the whole industry is going this way. As a different take to consider, I will say this: electric motor technology has been around a long time and is *extremely* well tested. If you've ever seen a train hauling...
  8. Build and Price for 2021 Bronco soon?

No... In corporate speak: soon=within the next 24 months, very soon=within the next 2-4 quarters, but dropping that second very... that's a big deal. That's hours to days. You can almost hold your breath on "very, very."
  9. Report: 2022 Bronco Hybrid Will Get a 3.0-Liter V6, Up To 450+ HP

As a guy that actually like to go crawling, a v8 isn't attractive to me at all. Too much weight over the nose, traditionally over heating problems moving at these slow speeds, not enough low rpm torque. Also, natural aspiration sucks at high altitude - forced aspiration will be an upgrade for...
  10. Report: 2022 Bronco Hybrid Will Get a 3.0-Liter V6, Up To 450+ HP

Not to mention Ford already told their investors in an earnings call that they will be bringing EV and hybrid tech to the Bronco. And their $500M investment in Rivian. Don't really need a crystal ball. The issue is simply when. And this gets to those lame product managers referenced...
  11. Badlands suspension vs Wildtrak

IIRC, in response to question about sta-bar disconnects being a selectable option, Levine was quoted as saying that "you can only get the sta-bar disconnect on Badlands and FE". So, it seems like a no for now.
  12. Badlands suspension vs Wildtrak

It should, yes. And the Badlands has a lot of the Sasquatch components already, so what many are considering is just going aftermarket lift (like Fox or Icon) and 35's of their choosing (like BFG).
  13. Badlands suspension vs Wildtrak

Excellent breakdown. The only difference for me is that the sta-bar disconnect (using Ford's terminology) is the real item here. The bumpers are usually the first thing to change on a Jeep and I expect many Bronco people will find swapping bumpers to be a cheap and quick upgrade. Sta-bar...
  14. Build and Price for 2021 Bronco soon?

But they only deliver pineapple pizza. It's like Henry said, "you can order whatever pizza you want, as long as it's pineapple."
  15. Build and Price for 2021 Bronco soon?

No problem! Also, people want to stick to the embargo if they want to keep getting invited to know stuff early. TFLcar got themselves uninvited to the Bronco Launch event because they released stuff early. It'll be a while before they get invited back (if ever).
  16. Build and Price for 2021 Bronco soon?

In the press world, you want to tell the world about something on a specific day (i.e. "Launch Day"). But to give the press time to get their articles written and ready to print/publish on "Launch Day", you need to tell them *before* that. But, you still don't want the rest of the world to know...
  17. Report: 2022 Bronco Hybrid Will Get a 3.0-Liter V6, Up To 450+ HP

I have a Wrangler and a Tesla and my wife has a Volvo XC hybrid. I'm a fan. I also have no worries about the batteries - they will be able to shield that. I just have two question marks... I'm curious to see how the hybrid 4x4 works. I know on the F150 the they mash the electric motor between...
  18. Anybody else getting over the initial hype?

I'm clearly doing a crap job making a simple point: that more/less complex does not equal more/less durable and that electronic doesn't mean less durable than mechanical. That's all. I don't think any part of a Bronco is spec'd to cover 20 years of high cycles. But I do know that all the systems...
  19. Anybody else getting over the initial hype?

lol. Ok, the tube TV thing was too far, just extending the point. My real comparison was commercial aircraft being both complex and reliable. Not the same, but it's doable. They put on tons of cycles with remarkable reliability and basically are designed to never fail - and are loaded with...
  20. Anybody else getting over the initial hype?

Not sure I'm all the way there... I get what you're saying, but those aircraft we *used* to fly on are about the most complete bits of machinery we encounter regularly. They statistically are incredibly reliable (greater than 90% dispatch reliability across all flights around the world), put on...
