Yep, my mistake. I read the article, but I honestly missed that paragraph between the ad and the diagram (lame, I know).
Tight squeeze, but they did it. Well done. So... why the chargers in the trail then?
Even then... Look, many of you know that I'm a big EV fan, but I think if you want to replace an ICE vehicle on the trail, then you need to bring the range and/or mobile charge capability - not install chargers in wild.
That would seem unnecessary for a decent all electric, but maybe. The new Jeep hybrid only has a 17.3 kwh battery, so it's not going to make it the whole trail. But the Rubicon isn't a place you need to pack extra fuel for a gas Jeep and a Tesla or Ford all electric easily have enough range...
The AMP are nice to look at and function elegantly. However, I have the RSE on my Jeep because they are stable and get my 4'10" wife in and out confidently, but they are ALSO fully functional rock rails - able to take the full weight of the Jeep as well as bounce and slide down boulders ...then...
They got us the photo and published it. Maybe just a quick "thanks" and move on without any drama - especially when we all just like Broncos. :sneaky:
The color is great. I agree with you on the top - I'm afraid it would look better with the shadow black or oxford white painted top.
Also keeping in mind that this is almost certainly the same team having to get out the F150 and Mustang Mach-E B&P tools. The Bronco tool is absolutely the most complex considering all the config combinations and they have a dependency on pricing being completed (which it hasn't been) for every...
Your use cases do NOT need lockers and (as people have shared) you never want to use lockers on the road. The only reason I can see you getting lockers is that it may make the vehicle more attractive to the NEXT owner because they are a pain to add later on vehicle with as sophisticated a drive...
I have 35's on a 4" short arm lift on my JKU. The proportions are right and it gives me what I need for wheeling.
I've run several tires and while I agree all MT's make noise, the BFG KM2 are the best. The KM3 are better. But the KO2 are an amazing tire that is significantly quieter and will...
The only problem is that you usually need your winch up front. You are going up hill and need to anchor (like a climber going up a mountain). Rear winch is good for helping someone else up if you are already at the *top* of the hill. Or for pulling people out of ditches. Or for pulling stumps...
