For most people, yes. $100k might be on the high side for property damage (the last number). 100/300/50 might be fine. It all depends on what you have to come after that you're trying to protect.

Yup. I'm in NJ and mine is about $2k/year w/ high limits (250k/500k). NJ is an expensive insurance state.

Nothing wrong with Gap. In your case, it probably made senses. Sometimes they talk people into buying it with much more down - in which case they have positive equity and GAP useless.

I've been keeping my eyes out to buy. Passed on a few. They seem to be going for 5-6500 in nyc metro / new england. But that was heading into winter. Mild winter, heading into spring/summer, anything close to $6k would be a good deal for seller IMO. There are plenty of comps in the classifieds.

Here is some etiquette - If you have toddler boys, make sure they don't yell "Its Top Off Weather" at the top of their lungs in public all summer. ;)

Someone else might chime in, but I seem to recall there being an expiration date w/ the contract w/ Gunstock ski mountain (NH location). I really enjoyed NH and would highly recommend it. I can't speak to vegas.

Following. My dealer (who i'm personal friends with the owner - i only say that because i think i'm getting the actual story.) told me feb to be able to buy a full top. That now seems unlikely, but hes confident that eventually there will be an option.
