That's actually not too bad of a price when you consider that the Mobridge amp by itself is $1800. I've used a lot of MBQ components in the past and always liked their speakers.
I'm re-watching that video I posted up on the first page and they do mention the front wheel bearings and fasteners are all upgraded, the same as what's on the F150 Raptor. They color-coded numerous components that are physically changed/upgraded but they didn't color code everything like the...
I'd have to imagine the wheel bearings and CV's are beefier given the larger tire size and heavier weight. From an engineering perspective, it makes sense but it is Ford we're talking about so...yeah.
Just look the part numbers up for each. If they're different, well, they're physically different components. Doesn't tell you if one is more "HD" than the other but at least we know they're unique to the model.
I'd buy the part at another local dealer, install it yourself, fill out survey for the dealer you purchased the car from and let them know, in no uncertain terms, you won't be using their dealership for any maintenance appointments or anything else moving forward.
Most service managers are just...
From what I can remember, it does.
When installing these, also take a look at the sealing around the front of the intercooler. I physically took out the shutters from the housing so I'm still using the shutter housing (but with no shutters in it). Provides some duct sealing this way but It's...
Front shutters are really just for gas mileage and anti-icing during certain atmospheric conditions.
Rear shutters can be reused no problem, it just requires zip ties for mounting but is functionally fine. One flap will hit an a/c condenser line and won't fully open but it's 80% there...
There's a 91 page thread on photos of Cactus Gray Broncos in this very sub forum. Why would you start a new thread?
Here's a link: https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/cactus-gray-bronco-club.18218/
They all use the same basic core dimensions and likely identical cores as there aren't a lot of companies making them in the states and Cobb/CP-E aren't making their own cores. They're all aluminum construction. The end tank design is one variable and you can have tube/fin or bar plate...
I did CP-E as well, I like the internal divided runner which helps with throttle response/turbo lag. I'm not sure I'd do a high mount due to reduced cooling to the radiator. Ideally, both the intercooler and radiator have their own unimpeded air source for max efficiency. They're all using...
I was being sarcastic. Just a heads up, I might make a joke about no rooftop tent, roof light bar, pillar lights or Rotopax gas containers. That will be sarcastic as well.
I thought along the same lines as the OP but decided against roof rack mounting for a few reasons.
First, access. My shoulders aren't the best and it needlessly puts me in a precarious situation where I could do further damage (but that's just me).
Second, while the rotopax will get hit...
It's very possible to develop a drone-free exhaust. My favorite method is the helmoltz resonator. You can make it variable so less math is involved to achieve a drone-free system without extra power-robbing chambers. It's just a j-shaped extension on the exhaust piping with the extension...
