I take my hard top off every chance I get. I've done six hour trips with the top off and regularly drive daily, weather permitting, to work with it off as well. I'll admit I have yet to see another Bronco in town do the same. This'll change when summer hits and it's 110 degrees for three...
I don't buy that theory. There are plenty of BRaptors with failed tops. Ironically there was another BRaptor at the dealership same time as mine, having the entire top replaced. The other one was a 24. My '23 had cracks in the top probably by around 10K miles.
I will say this....I have...
I will say my ripples are secured to the underlying layer. I cannot press them in and they are bonded. I have lots of snakeskin elsewhere. So if your seem loose, I'd likely try to get it warrantied sooner than later.
I have the same on my Raptor. When my rear section developed cracks, I thought they'd warranty the entire top. They did not, just the portion with cracks. I've not had any issues with panels that "feature" ripples and extra texture.
If you have existing SS3's are the lenses upgradable?
And scratch that...I see you're referring to the lenses themselves. I then took the time to actually click on the link and see that yes, the lenses are indeed available.
If it sits quite a bit, I'd look for damage to your wiring harness due to rodents. I didn't look up any of the codes but I'm guessing some are comms errors.
Carabiner clips to the overhead handles, then to braided steel lines that have plastic sheaths, connected to their harnesses. But I do use the back seat connections mostly. It's just long enough so my larger dog can "surf" with his front paws on the center console (I have a cover for that)...
Congrats and cute dogs! You made the right choice with the Braptor. IMO it's next level in the driving experience department.
Get seat back protectors too...I usually put the rear seats flat, add a dog bed and harness the dogs in that way either with the hooks on the back of the seats or...
I mounted my rear camera inside but did pick up an additional mount to do it correctly. No shakes but I also used blue loctite on all the little screws once I had the angle set correctly. The tint doesn't bother me although at night, all you see are lights. During the day, it's a non-issue and...
Looks well integrated and doesn't block much airflow to the radiators like some setups do. Pretty critical on the Raptor. Need to see photos of the light throw at night.
Forget wax. Do something like Geyon Q2 Can Coat Evo which is a quick-apply ceramic coating. It's a once a year application and far superior to wax. Can use it on everything including the fenders and plastic trim. Super easy to apply and gave the absolute best finish on my Braptor fenders...
Stick to solid or slotted rotors, avoid cross-drilled. Pads will make a larger difference. I'm trying to get Carbotech to make a set of their 1521's for the Braptor. Will be a dramatic improvement over the OEM brakes but ultimately, tires are the limiting factor.
"Pops and crackles" or "burbles" were an offshoot of WRC where they would fire the injectors out of phase, igniting gas in the headers to keep the turbos spooled between shifts. Poorly-tuned cars would also do this as extra gas would ignite on the hot exhaust valves or headers.
Today it's...
I get it in reverse, first thing, when the brakes are ambient temp, backing out of the garage. Usually something like Permatex anti-squeal on the back of the pad does the trick. Just haven't been motivated to jack the car up and remove 200 pounds worth of wheel and tire, LOL.
As I posted...
