Oh sorry, I was referring to the latches themselves. If they are over tightened, they can be an issue. After re-reading your post, it looks like you may have been referring to the other part that it hooks into.
I had similar issues with mine. You donāt want to over tighten them, and could be contributing to the issue. Also, you could try adding some silicone-based lubricant to the latches as well. Doing both these things helped eliminate the sound for me.

Although I no longer have my Bronco, my TOR hardtop saw significant rainfall in the PNW area and pressure washer use with no leaks. It was great!

The grill and lights are LEGO parts. They just have a decal overlay on them, but otherwise are LEGO. The fenders arenāt a common piece though and you may be right - however itās still technically a LEGO part and would connect as such.
Meh, itās not bad but it looks like itās a smaller, less complex Technic model. I like Legoās Technic line - I have the Bugatti - I wish theyād make one of that scale. I think itāll look decent and be popular though.
