These arenāt mounted on the lugs. Theyāre mounted directly to the spare tire holder with the brackets the pods come with. I could remove my spare tire with ease with no removal of the pods.

Thanks. At the time there werenāt many options available, and I wanted a low-profile look. Couple LED pods + strobing harness off Amazon and thatās all it took. Worked for my needs, but would be dependant on wheel design. Most folks seem to have OEM though.

Did @RCI Offroad say that you need to install another part in order for it to support the awning weight? Seems strange it would fail twice, unless some additional part wasnāt installed.
Looks great! I did a similar install of LED lights on my Silverado years ago. Although some light was blocked by the grill, it was minimal. I like the āhiddenā look, which also deters theft. Well done!
