To be fair. My wife was pretty scared and has good reason. She thinks I’m obsessed with this vehicle. That’s the way I am with vehicles. Always have been since my first VW I built at 15.

Valid point. The key is building trust and safety for your partner and establishing that dishonesty will not be tolerated ever as a hard and fast boundary. Boundaries in relationships should not be broken. If they are broken, the relationship ends.

Some people are. I am. I wasn't always. I can say now that I haven't told a lie in close to 25 years. I don't believe in lying. I want to represent myself as accurately as possible and I expect the same out of the people I allow in my life.

My marriage is amazing. My relationship with my wife is healthy and strong and filled with honesty and respect and love. In not old either...middle aged perhaps, but not old. My definition of a faiking marriage would be one filled with lies, manipulation and deception and one where partners can't trust each other or feel safe. A failing marriage is also one where "happy wife happy life" or "yes dear" are words of wisdom that keep the peace.

Interesting...I haven't seen a single post like that or any type or misogyny whatsoever. Speaking facts about reality or personal experience is not misogyny. Misogyny is some sort of hatred or prejudice against women. I haven't seen anyone say anything that meets that definition.

"I've noticed that women in my life tend to lie" is not misogyny. "Women are dumb and need to be in the kitchen" would be misogyny.
Same as "I've noticed that men in my life tend to have anger issues" is not misandry, while "men are abusive fools who need to be controlled/manipulated" would be.

A "wife bad" post is not misogyny.
