Anyone use this subwoofer harness for B&O upgrade?

EDIT: i decided the kicker 500.1 key series was the better choice for me. over the CX400.1 but still gonna use this adaptor to connect to the Key RCA inputs and use the High Level button

I was got the High Level to RCA harness, so I can use the Key 500.1 amps DC offset mode to turn it on saving me from the REM wiring, Im assuming the kicker RCA ends can be used for high or low inputs instead of cutting them off and soldering from the factory wiring

Anyone know does this connect to the wiring out the DSP then to the RCA inputs, or daisy chained from the DVC wiring inside the enclosure to the amps RCA inputs? Has anyone used this, looks plug and play which i like

is that RMS? everywhere looked seemed to have no idea, or it was like 85w rms. the sub and amp will support 300w rms at 2ohm, so i can def boost it up if 150 is what factory is.

I dunno on B&O - they don’t list the power breakdown anywhere, other than “660w total” (which is certainly not RMS)

On the seven channel, the sub amp is dedicated and it’s clearly marked 55W per channel @ 2 Ohms

I ended up canceling and swapping amps to the Kicker key 500.1 just due to the size, i totally didnt noticed that teh CX was like double. Im going to just run 300w at 2ohm on that instead and just adjust as needed.

If you have the B&O system you don’t need a harness. I’ve tried the plug in play harness and it didn’t give enough signal to power the key 500.1 amp. the bass was pathetic and couldn’t even perform the key gain learning. I bypassed the whole thing and simply used the pigtail from the amp and cut the rca off and wired directly to the stock oem 4 wires from the back of the sub. Before cutting the rca off your amp pigtail use volt meter to determine which 2 wires are positive and which 2 are negative. Then connect them to the positive/negative on the factory sub wires.

when you run the key learning test for the gain control to allow the key amp to learn the roll off from the B&O amp simply set the volume on the radio at 15 not 75 percent of the total volume. The key amp will receive a clean signal at 15 from the bronco which is half volume for the stereo and will provide an unadulterated roll off of any bass at that level. If you use 75 percent volume like the kicker instruction says you will get an inaccurate correction on your key amp. So basically run the key learning at what you enjoy listening to. But stay out of the high volume areas as the signal rolls off considerably

Also fill your box and plug the port and it’s incredibly loud and impressive good the bass will be in your bronco.

Oh and use forscan to disable your active noise cancellation system prior to key learning. It really muddies the sound after you improve the sub and be sure you put your bass, treble and mid zero or neutral on your bronco prior to key learning. Also it’s a great time to remove the fake engine noise in forescan it’s also very annoying with upgraded speakers. LOL

For ANC, go into FORScan → Configuration and Programming → DSP Module Configuration (AS BUILT format).

Modify first chain or block


The fake/enhanced engine sound is separate. That’s in the ACM (Audio Control Module)

Use AI chat or Google ai for your code changes and anything else you want or would
Like to mod. It’s a great resource and much faster than going through lists.

Thanks for the info here! Subscribed and in for this video! I think the stock system is close to what I need/want but I think this sort of nudge it needs.
