So I just switched mic top with a used painted top. However the front side panels of the rear cap have a lot of flexibility (right along the vertical edge of that cap that’s next to the rear seat windows). See picture below. If it matters, my top has the white panels inside with the black soundproofing inserts. I’ve compared my top to a number of painted and MIC tops on the local Ford lot and they’re all much more solid along that edge. So I’m assuming either I’m somehow missing a seal that attaches vertically to the roof cap at that spot, or a seal that attaches to the body. Does anyone have any thoughts? Or perhaps your painted top is removed from a bronco and you can quickly check both?
Thanks all.
Thanks all.
