Good Afternoon,

thinking of adding the afe cold air intake on my Badlands. Does anyone have any feedback on performance?? The installation looks pretty straightforward. Thanks in advance!!

Is the stock intake on them not already a cold air intake? Especially seeing as it appears to sit at the factory intake location? I'd imagine that all you would get is a HP gain you could only notice with a dyno screen, more noise, as well as likely poorer filtration. If more power is what you want, you're far better off with a proper tune.

The stock air filter is garbage..

Just replacing the stock air filter with a high quality aftermarket one would be beneficial..

Cold air intake is typically one of the 1st mods I do to any vehicle. Most OEM air boxes and piping are restrictive as hell. I added my momentum GT a few weeks into ownership. Eliminating that stupid OEM squashed and twisted inlet pipe alone made it worthwhile.

Don't expect any crazy gains of changes with a CAI, but it will improve breathing, especially if you plan to mod the vehicle further (charge pipes) larger turbos, tune, etc).
