Who the hell wants a 4 door Mustang.
Probably the same as those that want a 4 door Bronco. More room and easier to get into the back.

While subjective (and I think the standard bronco looks better than a wrangler) but I just don’t think the bronco design would carry over well to a pick up, or at least won’t look as good as a gladiator.

I find it difficult to believe Ford would make a product that would cut into its F series sales.
A Bronco pick up would cut into Ranger sales not the F150.

That's all we need: another four-door pickup like the Gladiator. I say that because you KNOW Ford will not do a proper Bronco pickup in a two-door, manual transmission configuration. After all, it's clear they are 4D/AT crazy.

I don't believe that for a second. But even if it were true, is that reason enough to kill the 2-door?
Ask your insurance agent.

A 4 door sedan has always been cheaper to ensure than a 2 door sports coupe.

If anyone needs to save that dfferential to make their household viable...
Anyone who buys a four door to save $10(¿) monthly...then buys $400 foglights they'll never/seldom use(insert ridiculous aftermarket purchase/premium color upcharge here)...wow.

No need: a Bronco pickup is not classified as a "sports coupe" to begin with. In the 1960s and 70s, a Chevy C10 was easily insured, unlike GM's GTO, Chevelle, etc ("sports coupe") of the period.

In fact, it was because of the fact that 2-door pickups were more easily insurable that Dodge's "Lil' Red Wagon" and the GMC Cyclone came into existence.

I solved my hauling issues, bought a 26 Maverick and it gets 40 mpg, yeah can't take the top off but I haven't taken the top off the bronco all summer either since it pretty much rains everyday this year.
