2.7 Engine Upgrades - supercharger / bigger turbos?

Someone was offering high performance turbochargers for the 2.7 l if I remember correctly they machine out the stock turbochargers and use the 3.5 turbocharger Center section and inducer Wheels. This allows safe 550 horsepower with new tune.

Here's a teardown on a 2018 2.7 with 131k miles on it that would make me nervous bout just slapping some random tune on.

As someone said earlier, I have 2.7 and I have Injen CAI, Charge Pipes, Down Pipe, and I am awaiting the Intercooler. I am also Procal tuned.

Trust me Jesse can pick her skirt and run when she needs to.

I got a Bronco Wildtrak. And I want to give the engine some juice. I thought about adding a supercharge to it or even bigger turbos.
Has anyone here done any upgrades along those lines ?

Seriously, a tune from someone can raise max boost above 18-19 we have available from the factory. Trade off is can the engine itself handle 25-28 psi without imploding

Maybe OPs solution is to trade in for a braptor with the larger engine but surely for price differential with Raptor starting above 80 large one can figure out how to stuff a 428 in the back seat to go racing 1/4 mile at a time.

The other side of this is they don’t make a two door raptor and the fender flares are just dumb so I would never go to one. Plus the 3.0 isn’t anything great over the 2.7. Need a V8

V8 is super cool, but far more expensive and really not necessary if power is the goal.
2.7 and 3.0 both make tons of power reliability with very little money.

Looking at Garrett turbos without down pipes I’m not a fan of v6 exhaust sound. Any idea if it’s worth the trunk upgrade without down pipes?

Yeah it’ll still make good power over stock even without aftermarket downpipes

I upgraded to the Full Race - Garrett Power Max larger turbos and I believe a couple of others on here have done the same. Makes a large difference especially with a ZFG e85 tune.

Have you dynoed it on 93. What does the power feel like compared to stock on 93?

I haven't had it on the dyno yet. But seat of the pants is remarkable over stock, much quicker than a raptor. On e85 its freaking scary. Now I wouldn't upgrade the turbos without the other power adders that help the engine breath (ie: downpipes, intake, charge pipes intercooler, and the correct tune, etc).

Yeah I had whipple intercooler, s&b intake, garret turbomax, cab charge pipes, zfg tune 93 quoted. No down pipes I don’t want aloud v6. Just wondered if the 125-150whp inn told is what I’d get. It’s expensive 13k all in.

I think it easily gains 125+whp. I do all of my own wrenching so it's not quite as expensive, just frustrating at times.
