Is the JKS max clearance kit always necessary for 37 tires?

The Raptor sidesteps all of this — stock suspension geometry is already dialed for 37s from the factory. No crash bar trimming, no JKS kit, no body mount surgery. Kind of nice not having a project just to keep the tires I started with.

That’s great if one can afford the extra $30-$40k price tag. The Raptors are definitely awesome. A little wide though.

I thought about this but having invested a lot of time and money on other mods in my Wildtrak I didn't feel like starting over and I didn't want to adopt someone else's abandoned Raptor "project". Plus I haven't had any issues with mine despite all the trail abuse and I appreciate the smaller fenders and narrower stance. But it's all on now anyway and I have no clearance issues, still drives fantastically with the performance tune.

The raptor has its own drawbacks that can't be corrected with a little trimming.

Fair — mine's the MIC top cracking and my bank account. Tire clearance just isn't one of them, small win I'll take.

Thus far, with my set up of a 1 1/4" front and 1/2" rear level kit, the 37s....aka 36s fit fine and only rub when fully compress, with sway bar disc, and at full turn. That's not going to happen much.

I have since installed the Bro-Flaps Premium on the front and they are PERFECT for my 37s and set up! Nothing is getting by them and to the doors now!

Thanks @aermtr for hooking me up with the flaps that fit perfectly! Was quick and easy to swap in with the existing handwear and spacers. No need to disassemble the wheel well or take out the plastic block. As the Professor over Product Evaluation stated...."It looks clean!"
