Product Update: powoq overhead sunglasses holder is now live!

Hey everyone, I wanted to share an update on our Sunglasses Holder for the 2021-2026 Ford Bronco (except Sport models).

For the material, we chose soft TPE for the tray instead of ABS to prevent noise. The softer rubber dampens vibrations so items won't rattle on bumpy roads.

With the ABS clips, it attaches directly into the gap of the front windshield header panel. It sits right where your gear is within easy reach, while leaving plenty of clearance so it never interferes with your sun visors.

Besides sunglasses, it easily holds garage cards, gate passes, or keys. The depth is just right to keep your items secured during daily driving.

Thought it was pretty clear to me. It mounts above the visor onto that overhead trim piece on the passenger and/or driver side. Looks like the heat already got to this one in their picture as it looks all warped lol

Have one, not sure if it's your brand or not (it's a few years old) and I do use it for sunglasses as it tends to keep them out of other bins where they might get knocked around or rub against all the other stuff I keep in those. So it works well and I wouldn't be without one myself.

@CalvinT, If you look at where your sun visor ends when folded up and stowed away, it's right in front of that, towards the driver on the driver's side. Literally dead square in front of the driver's seat.

Not sure how it could be implemented but I'd love one that features a top to conceal what's in there. I've occasionally forgotten my glasses were in there when the front panels were off and I walked away from the car in a public place. Never had them stolen but peace of mind sort of thing...Just don't know if there's enough clearance to get a top that opens enough to slide glasses in. Maybe one that has a forward-facing cover with a small lip at the bottom to keep things from sliding out if you're on an incline.

I don’t think it’s warped. They said they are using TPE, so it’s that flexible stuff kinda like silicone. It would also have less rattle noise.

The video and photos are taken with no top in place. Does the flexible TPE help with putting items in and getting them out when the top is on, as opposed to rigid ABS? I have the same product that @Ape Factory shows. Even with the cutout on the front, it's not easy to get sunglasses in and out with the top on. I've also never noticed sound from mine, but I guess if a sunglasses holder was going to vibrate, a TPE version wouldn't make the sound that an ABS version would.

Its between the clamp and pin for the Driver's roof panel above the Driver side visor. Hangs down in the one section that doesn't have hangy-downy bits yet, but that's my 6'10" opinion on visibility.

I 3D printed an overhead bin for my sunglasses that mounts like this one. It’s a hard plastic (ASA) so the glasses do slide around and make noise if I’m not wearing them. This flexible TPU TPE solution is nice idea.

I could add a rubber or foam bottom cover to mine. However, I decided to just use the “factory provided” cubby space between the steering wheel and the instrument cluster. Fits sunglasses perfectly.

That’s actually not heat warping. It’s just the natural flex of the soft TPE.

Our sunglasses holder is made of soft TPE. So you can flex the edge down to reach your glasses.
But your idea of a forward-facing cover is a great concept!

Thanks for sharing your experience. Your insights are spot on. With our TPE, you can flex the front edge down to put items in and take them out.
