Here's an iconic silver example, just finished up and installed this week.
I always wanted to color match the outer edge. @Smitty1979 and @DarthLincoln were some of the earliest (and best) examples I found when searching the idea. I ended up going with all silver instead of just the border...
Here's what it looks like. The flares, trail sight deletes, and grille are painted iconic silver to match the body color. OEM grille letters are painted black.
The grille looks darker than the rest from certain angles and in certain light, such as in these pics. Other times it looks spot...
You're absolutely right, I didn't notice them at all on the OEM grille! Very easy installation with the clips, go figure. Thanks again for the reply, it was a big help and much appreciated 🍻
The metal clips!!!
The instructions in the box are along the lines of, "1. remove old grill, 2. install new grill." There were metal clips in the same bag as the screws for attaching the letters, so I assumed they were related to the letters, not being able to figure out what else they'd be...
@The Compensator @The Green Flash @DarthLincoln @Buck N Bronc
I have the same grille, finally ready to install...none of the tabs will click in!! I can't find anything in the way that would be preventing engagement. Anyone have a similar issue?
Ok, late in the game to be asking this question, but I'm seeing conflicting information. Can anyone answer which is true?
1. You must be on the beach by 9:00 and cannot leave the beach until 5:00.
or
2. You may enter and leave the beach parking area at any time between 9:00 and 5:00.
TIA
I have a 35-40 minute commute and typically see 3-5 Broncos a trip. I always look to see if they're 2-doors, and they very rarely are. You're in the 2-door epicenter!
My dad had a sharp S10 Blazer that I drove some as a teenager. Two-tone blue with IROC wheels. It was, however, a turd with the 2.8. We had a small trailer we towed with it. Sold the trailer to a guy who also drove an S10 Blazer. My dad pointed out the 2.8 badge on his ride and told him...
Mudflaps make a big difference. Before I got them, I went on some forest roads, mostly dry, last fall and had mud higher than the door handles back to the rear fender flares, from pretty tame driving. Driving through a snowy, salty winter illustrates the impact of mudflaps.
I wasn't crazy...
Thanks. I saw these on sale but didn't act fast enough. Still looking for OEM takeoffs, or someone selling UPRs. Retail, they're almost half what I paid for a new grille. Hoping to save a buck!
I'd like to see a bull bar for the capable bumper that has improvements over what's currently on the market. Specifically, a bull bar that is taller (but lower than the grille letters), and possibly juts out at a steeper angle (perhaps between 65 and 75 degrees). What I've seen available for...
If anyone replaced/removed their BRONCO letters and has the originals in good condition sitting around with no plans for them, let me know what you'd take for them. Thank you in advance!
