I thought maybe he’s removing the latches instead of turning them, but those latches are mounted with TP30 screws, not 40. And the clamshell uses T50. Not sure what uses a TP40 (or T40).

If you disassemble the Bronco around the top, it makes the top easier to remove.

I was thinking the exact same thing! Went out to my Bronco to look at it and went “nah… there’s no way… is there??”

I have insider information - it’s a Bronco sport. Tops not supposed to be removable but with enough determination and a T40 bit a man can get things done!

Yeah, I've butchered the terminology all thread — it's the bolted rear section I'm talking about, not the latched fronts. That's the piece I made tool-free. And @HighVelocity is right that a sawzall is the permanent fix.
